Poppet Ponies Description
We aim to provide a fun filled exciting event with a gentle introduction to horses. We are family run with qualifictions that include British Horse Society Exams , Level 3 Equine Diploma and a Vet Student who also helps out. We are Licensed and Insured Bookings by appoitment under 5's have to be accomplied by a parent /guardian No prior experience of ponies is required

It has been glorious weather this week for all our Easter riders so far.One of our young riders yesterday thought Toodles may like to meet her look alike,teddy horse,who she named Lily 🐴

Yesterday we had another enjoyable pony morning and I am happy to say we have some very clean tack now🙂Today we had a lovely Birthday party for young Chaya .All the children were very well behaved
A Really busy week we are having here so far. A group of children joined us for a pony morning on Tues.The weather wasn't quite so nice as today,But all the children enjoyed riding the ponies.Everyone also learn't some new pony facts.Today we have been busy putting up some new very pretty hanging baskets of flowers.We did have a challenge trying to get the correct hight so the greedy goats couldn't eat them!😀
Almost full.Just a couple of spaces left for the Easter rides.Pony mornings that are fun but more educational (minimum recomended age is 4) we have 1/2 spaces left for each day.Don't forget places need to be booked 🐴

We have had a busy morning.Today we had a special Birthday treat session for one lucky little girl's 3rd Birthday.Lily enjoyed being pampered after she had given all the children a ride🐴
This afternoon we did a pony express visit.Birthday girl Ingrid was very thrilled when she answered her front door to see Lily hand"hoof" delivering her a Birthday card.Ingrid and all her friends gave Lily lots of cuddles and Lily was happy to oblidge and pose for lots of photos🐎
We have had a really busy day today,with riders this morning. Then this afternoon we had a party for young Arellia in a lovely location near Pangbourne.Lily was happy to be wearing her Unicorn outfit🦄

April is looking like a busy month.We have lots of childrens Birthdays to celebrate and of course the Easter holidays.All Easter activities and dates will be confirmed this week.We will be running some pony mornings and also will have some Easter fun and games on the ponies including a Easter egg hunt 🐴🐥🐰

We brought my seven year old son here today as he loves animals and wanted to try horse riding. Sally and the team gave him a fantastic day. They were friendly and professional and you could see that horses were so well cared for and happy. I would highly recommend Poppet Ponies and we will definitely go back.
Took our 4 year old on her birthday for a ride and groom session (as advised when I explained her age and experience ahead of booking) and the guys at Poppets Ponies couldn’t have been better - so great with her and she had such a wonderful time. Communication throughout was good, very reasonably priced, and lovely touches like giving her a sticker and rosette really made her day. We will definitely be back and thanks so much for making a little girls day ☺️
Thank you so much for giving my niece a taster session today on lily the Shetland pony. She loved every minute and you made her feel so special. We will see you again very soon. �
Thank you for a fantastic time on Sunday; my two year old is still talking about Lily, Aladdin and Delilah. A brilliant and supportive first experience for a toddler to ride a horse and he absolutely loved it! We highly recommend.

I booked the special Easter ride for my 2 year old. This was his first time up close to a horse so we were naturally a bit nervous on how he would react. Sally was great and her relaxed attitude made us all relax too. Jackson loved Delilah the goat and was so happy to be able to ride Lilly, AND the 'horsie gave him chocolate'!
Great experience. And great value for money. Thank you Sally, we will definitely be back.
Every effort was made to give my grand-daughter a special treat, despite adverse weather conditions! She now has very happy memories of her first time on horseback.
