Have you been down to the marina to see Lively Lady? Currently we are home to this iconic sailing boat. If you'd like to have a little look at her history you can do so here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPyyqvFvb MY&feature=youtu.be

Spotted just outside of Chichester Marina were a pod of 10 dolphins! Thank you to Russell Hastings and those on-board the Hunky Dory for these wonderful pictures.

This year, we are celebrating Port Solent's 30th birthday! Join us at a Birthday Party on 28th July and enjoy an array of celebrations, including an exhibition compiled by a Portsmouth City Council historian charting the history of the area and how Port Solent was created. Decorate your boats for the weekend and dance to live bands playing music from the 80's, plus there is an open air cinema show the 1988 classic 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'! The event is free and begins at 12.30 and will run until 10.45.

Lovely views at Port Solent Marina on the longest day of 2018!

User

We have had our yacht there for 3 months and it's been lovely. The marina are very helpful 24 7. All the businesses we have used in the marina have been really helpful too. We are moving on at the weekend to Spain but I would definitely want to come back there if we were to return though it's so nice I imagine it would be very busy in the summer months

Took my daughter for a late afternoon birthday lunch yesterday. We went to Wildwood. Absolutely loved it! The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and with their meal deal we had 2 courses, (starter and main) plus a drink for only £10 each! The only downside was that the food took a while to come out, but when it did, it was well worth the wait! 10/10

User

Spontaneously we decided to go to Port Solent for a late lunch. We chose Prezzo, what an excellent decision, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! Superb.

Port Solent Marina is a very cool place with a great atmosphere and surroundings.

Well worth a visit and a great place to sail from.

User

Lovely walk in the sun at Port Solent, then a really nice meal - with Jenna, Dan and little Corbs... Belinda and I stayed on after they had to leave to listen to the singer at the resturant, she was amazing - I will book there for a meal at 2pm again.... had a really lovely time thanks for booking it Jen....

User

Lovely day out with my daughter and uncle to meet up with Portchester dog owners, took scarlet for walk and play with the other dogs lovely day to go lovely place and scenery.

User

Lovely afternoon in the sunshine yesterday at Port Silent, nice atmosphere. Ate ing Whetherspoons which was good value for money, good service and we all left with full tummys feeling very satisfied. Shame we had to leave there are many bars, could see myself say with a glass of red drinking in the wonderful view and atmosphere!

User

Love the place, great food, atmosphere is amazing and very romantic.

Just home from a wonderful evening with my friend and neighbour Marie who treated me to dinner in O Sole Mio. Restaurant was full And it is only Wednesday! So lovely to be able to walk to the restaurants, also the cinema with five screens. I do not want to move from here BUT my flat sale purchase has now taken over five months and I am ready to pull out. Everyone blames everyone else for the delay! Typical. If I do not exchange contracts by Friday I will pull out and continue renting. So fed up about it all. Very stressful. Whatever happens I will continue to live in Oyster Quay but I may still be where I am right now!

User

I love it here, but then I live here so a bit biased! Plenty of high quality restaurants to choose from, lots of atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely views of the marina.

User

I do like Port Solent very much, the views is very good. All the shops, bars and food are so lovely. You can chilled out all day Especially in the Summer. Nothing not to like

User

Fantastic atmosphere in the sun. Feels like you're in a marina in the med. Regularly travel up by boat from Gosport marina and moor up on the pontoon outside the lock. Staff always very helpful as all the Premier Marina staff are. Massive choice of eateries, not found a bad one yet. Can't recommend highly enough.

User

Beautiful location went with my husband for our wedding anniversary had a lovely drink at Wetherspoons 1st then on the Prezzo for a delicious meal. Lovely walk after looking at all the amazing boats and looked to the shops too. Highly recommended

User

Lovely spot for a weekend. We are based in hamble but will definitely sail up soon. Great having all the restaurants and bars right there in the marina. The weather was fab too so will definitely return

User

I never give the top star rating so a 4 in this case is as good as it gets. Great place, plenty to see and do, a multi screen cinema, bars restaurants and shops. Recommend Witherspoons for groups, order a cocktail pitcher and sit out upstairs on the balcony

User

I love walking around the marina especially on a sunny day

this place used to have lots of different shops but they have all been replaced by eating places. great to go and dine and drink but I particularly liked walling round the shops as well as it gave the place something for everyone

User

Overall a good Marina - Just be careful, if the staff run into and damage your boat, they won't do anything about it, other than promise to sort it (and don't) and promise to phone you back (and don't)

User

Appalled at so many eateries have their doors open BUT after standing with Alfie for close to 6 minutes without being approached and THEN being told they didnt actually open for food until half 11 was SHOCKING..

No notices to that affect.

I won't name and shame and am reluctant to say WELL DONE Weatherspoons.........lovely chicken/bacon and avacado salad

User

Nice Place, But then the Gendame of Port Solent arrive, and investigate why I am taking pictures..I thought it was a free country..so I ask you personally why do you take pictures?
