I have worked in the electrical & building services industry in domestic and commercial settings, with a wide range of clients on a wide range of projects. I have a polite manner towards others, and am easily approachable. I am always keen to learn new ways to reach an objective and I am interested in new areas of the industry in which I have over 25 years’ experience.

Work Experience
Self-employed 2003 to Date
Registered as self-employed in 2003, this was to further my range of work. Below are my clients and a summary of the roles I performed for them.

Oracle Electrical Solutions
Running of various sites overseeing budgets, installations and overall work standards of sub-contractors. This involved site set up through to Initial verification and hand over to client.

JCPC Construction Ltd.
Project manager controlling all building services for new build properties, refurbishments and also reactive maintenance to factories.

Debens Buildbase
Installation of electrical and mechanical services. Reactive maintenance to regional offices and supply yard / sales counter.


First Call Building Services
Managing projects for network rail. Installations of mechanical and electrical services on main line stations such as, new ATM machines, ticket turnstiles and new retail outlets. This position involved night work, and dealing with network rail staff to ensure smooth and continuous operation of stations. All relative method statements, risk assessments and work permits.

Specialist Building Services
Contracts manager for decent homes projects for Redbridge Homes. This involved working with main contractor to ensure site safety, staffing levels and smooth running of each individual dwelling. A key part of this role was to organise order of works across all building services, final inspection and verification of complete units then to hand over to main contractor.

EPS Projects
Electrical manager for A2 Housing and Lewisham Homes. Running teams of contractors to carry out building works for decent home projects - mainly being kitchen and bathroom upgrades to properties. This also involved budget management, time management, liaising with residents and final inspection and handover.

Electrician, Seeboard PLC, Tunbridge Wells (1987 to 2003)
Served apprenticeship, to go on to completing domestic, commercial and industrial installations.
Project manager for Walton and Hersham council refurbishments. Over-seeing electrical contractors, organizing deliveries, as well as asbestos removal contractors, working closely with HSE.
Heathrow Terminal 4. Testing and commissioning of all M@E services.
Asda stores, project manager for refurbishment and upgrade of EPOS systems
Halifax Building Society. Site manager for complete install, dealing with contractors supplies and
health and safety.

In my spare time I like to spend with my family, dealing with our range of pets. I also enjoy going to the gym. I like to constantly challenge myself - both physically and mentally during events such as Tough Mudder, cross country and commando assault courses.
