We have never had any issues with RAF Brize Norton and we know when there is a delay it is usually weather related or a problem with the plane neither of those are the fault of the RAF and personally I would rather the plane went out late but safe. Keep up the good work.

The global air mobility that is launched daily from this Station in support of UK Defence is breathtaking . Our people are our greatest asset, phenomenal Station; outstanding people.

I give thanks for the world web,I'm able to connect with RAF Brize Norton on this very important mile stone even thou I can't be their and inspite all the difference we may have I still see BRITAIN as the mother land.

Fantastic day out well organised, helpful staff. Demonstrations excellent. Information tents were well set out . Plenty of parking space on camp when arriving, not too far from events which enabled us to return to vehicle to collect food/drink when needed. The pm concert was excellent , catered for all ages and taste in music.

And of course the fireworks display. Congratulations on a well organised event. All the hard work shone through. May there be many more to come. Would not hesitate for one second to recommend to family and friend.

troops have spent 6 months away and they can’t even get a reason for being delayed 48+ hours

User

Yet to be on an RAF flight that hasn’t been delayed. It’s like the timings are only ever an estimate

User

Thought the RAF were meant to fly planes?? Can't even get a plane to where it needs to go to get the lads home on time.

Please can you update your website to state that only passengers are allowed into the station as I wanted a rest with my passengers after a long 3.5 hours drive, planning to stay for a short time, but was advised Im not allowed into the station, and no, I wasn't asked if I had my I'd. I had passport and driving licence with me. your website says:

I am meeting/ dropping off a Passenger, can I gain access to the Station?

Yes, provided the criteria below are met. Please note that for arrivals visitors will not be permitted entry to RAF Brize Norton more than 2 hrs before the flight is expected to land.

Unescorted Access.

(1) Provided that you have an acceptable form of identification, as above, and the passenger that you are meeting is confirmed as arriving/departing on a flight, you can be granted unescorted access to the Station.

(2) Visitors who have met the criteria for unescorted access may also escort the following:

a. Persons under the age of 18 years.

b. One adult who has been unable to prove their identity (unless they come from a country to which special security regulations apply, please see below).

Escorted Access.

There are some countries to which special security regulations apply, if your identification is from one of these countries, you may be asked further questions about the passenger that you are meeting, an escort may be provided, or you may be denied access to the Station.
