We are so lucky to have this pool etc. As we are in Sandwich we think it is worth the quite often 20+min drive. Handy Car quite close within walking distance.

Staff friendly,facilities very good,pool a little bit cold at first,classes brilliantly run by very helpful, friendly and experienced staff,go to classes weekly and the gym,very good value.

Staff always quick to help and very attentive. Also very friendly and I found, non judgemental. Swimming pool is a tad cold when you first go in but worth it. Facilities very clean and well looked after... love coming here regularly!

My husband and i have just got our membership, i work so the late adult only swim suits me down to the ground and weekends late also the gym is open till late, i have a lovely trainer called kirsty she explained everything to me and we have set up a great programme �, thanks ramsgate Leisure centre, we also get a free car Park sticker to use the local car Park

I have recently signed up to the Gym, I have done body Pump classes and today I did RPM. I managed about 30 mins into a 45 min class and felt quite unwell, straight away it was picked up on by the teacher, she checked my pulse, got someone to come and get me and they got me an ice pack, colder water (as mine had gone warm) and asked me relevant questions. Turns out it was my fault as I hadn't eaten enough but I was really pleased with the help I received and would definitely recommend this leisure centre Gym is big enough, classes are great, swimming pool good and staff are helpful.

Had my daughter's 6th birthday party here last night. Exclusive use of the small pool then cold party food afterwards. So happy with the party, the quality of food, the staff particularly the brunette receptionist. Thank you very much x

Great facilities, great classes. Good times too - if you need a late class or a late swim this is available. Lovely and clean changing rooms.

First time me and my friend has visited. She had treated me to a spa & facial. We both absolutely loved it......from moment we entered the staff were so friendly & helpful. We loved the spa and the facial was amazing. Lovely ladies who did it and in such comfortable surroundings. Cannot wait to return. Would recommend to all my friends 100%

Used the spa yesterday and the spa was great but it was my first time visiting and it would have been helpful if the staff showed me where to go and what to do. Although the staff were friendly.

Ive used the pool several times and have nothing bad to say about the pool changing room or lifeguards.ive recently joined the gym which mentally i found hard but the staff were helpfull and friendly and the other gym goers welcoming and friendly im so glad i joined here and am looking foward to continuing

Gyms ok, workers are friendly, however actual gym area is small, there is no floor area (other than the one by the free weights which is understandably taken up by those using free weights), gutted yoga class is during everyones work hours, the resisance weight machines are on a 'difficulty rating' basis rather than actual weight so if you go elsewhere (if you are out of the area or something) you'll have no idea what kg to put it on. And during school holidays they don't update their site stating when children are and are not allowed in the facility. I went to have a nice quiet swim during an 'adults only' time, walked into the changing rooms and straight back out when it was filled with screaming children. Apparently it wasn't an 'adults only' time as stated on their site. Its an ok gym for now, but as soon as my contracts up I'll be going elsewhere. Preferably one more catered to adults, and those who are more serious about working out.

Just trying to do too many things at once. The pool is oversubscribed. If you consider taking out membership to use the pool on a regular basis, I'd look somewhere else.

I feel really diapointed. I've been a member for 5 years, only to discover I have a sanction on my account because I had missed some classes. I understand the reception area gets busy and the people behind the desk are not always able to pick up the phone to take the cancellation calls. There isn't a cancellation option online an hour before the classes are about to start, and my daughter has mental health issues; I don't always have access to my phone. This £10 fee isn't visably articulated either. Unless I pay this £10 I can not use my membership that I pay for every month. I was given no warning or phone call to say this had happened. I only found this out last night when I went to do some classes and was turned away.

I think this is very unfair and I don't see why I should pay a fee when sometimes it can't be helped. Thus, I'm ending my membership after 5 years.

Sad to go, I love the instructers and friends I've made there in this time.

The only downside was being told that our 8yr old son cannot sit on the edge of the pool with his feet in the water and fall forwards into the water as its classed as "diving" , otherwise its great..........that was a post I thought had posted last year.

An update from 2015, no better. I took my son ( by the way he had had swimming lessons at the old pool in Newington a couple of years back and is now a competent swimmer) back on Saturday for a swim and after we both got in the pool shallow end we swam to the deep end and halfway back, then the lifeguard calls me over and asks if my son can do 2 full lengths without stopping and tread water for a minute otherwise he cannot go in the deep end. Please tell me what is that all about? My son didn't want to do this so we stayed on the halfway point with my son swimming under my legs etc. Do you ask this of EVERY 9 year old even though he was with a responsible adult? Somehow i dont think so.

So back to Margate and Canterbury pools we go again, thanks for nothing Ramsgate swimming pool.

Terrible place ! I Got chucked out of the family small pool when I was pregnant , by a very rude young boy , his attitude was disgusting to the point other people stopped and stared , told me to GET OUT ! there were no signs saying the pool was closed for a baby swim class , all I did was sit on the steps as I kept getting kicked in the tummy in the big pool because the life guards could not be bothered to do there jobs and just sat chatting , waste of time and money , when I complained I just got fobbed off with a free swim voucher , dangerous place if your pregnant , this was a few months ago and it still upsets me , I won't ever go back there and I recommend no else does either !! What an advert they give out , supposed to be a family friendly pool instead they chuck out pregnant women without even a thought and find it acceptable for people to not follow any etiquette in the large pool !

Queue full of kids and parents turned away due to short staff at 10 am this morning. And there were already kids in the pool.

I loved it going here until today.... I phoned up to ask what time I can bring the kids in to swim was told 10am so I drove over from Margate went to pay for them only to be told it's now 10.45. With no apologies or even an offer of a refreshment whilst I sit waiting with 2 desperate children, just unapologetic rudeness! It was a woman with brown hair an glasses at the reception. I am as from now cancelling my membership and I will be returning to banatynes.
