Another fantastic day at Ramsgate Tennis Club! Spencer Square welcomed 100’s of people throughout the day with lots of coaching, tournaments, games, technique, skipping and a visit from the Mayor of Ramsgate!☀️
... We would like to say a big thank you to the Mayor of Ramsgate who attended our open day! Staying for hours talking to the children and parents and he also tried his hand at tennis🎾

A sunny day at Spencer Square!
Another busy day at Spencer Square tennis courts, with the sun shining bright in Ramsgate, the children's session was fun filled with games, technique, competitions and finished with a practice tournament!

RUSTY RACKETS!
New adult group coaching. Rusty Rackets is a great way to keep fit, get back into playing tennis or start playing for the first time!
... It is a social and enjoyable way to be introduced back into tennis and fitness! With an hour of coaching with technique followed by 30 minutes match play to practise what you have learnt!
Don't worry if you have never played before, there are many people in the same boat and that's why we are here to teach you :)

Meet our coaches!
Charlotte Tonkiss- Level 2 Qualified Tennis Coach. She plays a very high standard of competitive tennis for the first team at Liverpool University. She is also the tennis ambassador for Liverpool.
Amie Tonkiss- Level 2 Qualified Tennis Coach. She also plays a very high standard of competitive tennis representing Canterbury First Team in division 1 of the Kent League and is the number one player in their aegon team.
... Caroline Deeprose- Level 1 Qualified Tennis Coach. Caroline is the owner of Spencer Square Tennis Club, as well as running the café she also helps coach tennis and pickleball.
Rachel Wood- Team Leader. She plays a high standard of pickle ball and is excellent when coaching the younger children tennis shots and playing games.
