We had a lovely time at The Regency Court Hotel, the staff we very friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotless, our room was excellent value for money. We had to do a fire drill but that's just a part of life and didn't take anything away from the great stay, (maybe more lighting on the fire exit stairs would be good) we will definitely return ÔøΩ

We booked through secret escapes for 2 nights. The hotel was great it was my birthday and they upgraded our room it was lovely. We eat in the Resturant and the food was delicious 3 course and we could not fault it, super well done. Breakfast had everything you need, hot fully topped up lovely staff.

It was great location as went went to, Reading, Henley on Thames, Winchester and Local sites. We recommend the pool was clean warm and not busy. Can't wait to come back. ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

Took my daughter for an overnight stay to celebrate her birthday. She loved the spa, the room and the very yummy dinner. Without exception the staff were polite yet friendly and very helpful ÔøΩ

The staff were exceptional, very friendly helpful, nothing too much trouble, they went above and beyond to see to our needs, there were 8 of us girls having a spa weekend, we were treated like royalty, had 2 bottles of prosecco and 25% off our massages because they had to change our times. Nacy the beauty therapist tended to all of us and other guests the whole weekend on her own, she was fantastic and had the best massage ever.

She even came in early to fit us all in as the other therapists had left that week. The hotel was very clean and rooms were delightful. Definitely going back there. Fantastic weekend.

The food in the Watermark restaurant was lovely and the reception and bar staff were excellent - we will definitely return

Spent 2 nights at the hotel and had dinner in the hotel on the second night , regardless of the fact the lift was out of order for the duration of our stay and unfortunately didn't use the spa I'm still happy to give the hotel 5* as the staff were pleasant & helpful , food excellent , rooms comfortable & clean , bar ,reception area and restaurant spotless & gardens/car park well tended . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again if the opportunity presents itself

Lovely hotel. Very nice if you want a relaxing break with your loved one. Or even a weekend with the kids in the spacious pool.

I got married at the Recency on New Years eve 2010 and what an amazing experience... All the staff were amazing, we took over most if the hotel and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you for making my special day just perfect and the wedding that everyone to this day talks about.... thanks you. ÔøΩÔøΩ xxx

Had a lovely overnight stay which included Evening meal and breakfast which was superb. Had full use of spa and swimming pool, had treatments as an extra.

Great staff great hotel great facilities if I'm being picky bit annoying that when u pay a deposit on your room it takes 5 days to get the deposit back into your bank but otherwise very happy with the stay me and my girlfriend furrily enjoyed it and will be returning in the best future

A birthday treat for my mum with a visit to Highclere castle (aka Downton Abbey) the next day. The Hotel was fantastic friendly staff, the food in the restraunt was first class. The three course dinner and Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Room was large. Modern very clean and most important comfortable bed. I brought my swimming costume to go in the pool but was closed due to PH Balace. But one of those things others facilities were open lovely visit by mum and myself

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea, but was a little bit disappointed that after they brought our tea out, no one came and asked us if everything was ok .

Very nice stay via a wowcher voucher. Staff very friendly. Evening meal very good quality and breakfast nice. Room an excellent size.



Was gutted the pool and Jacuzzi were out of action as was chosen due to these facilities and it being a special treat for my girlfriend, and is only reason not to get a 5 star. Lift was also out of order meaning the walk to the room was a slog

Stayed here overnight after a day at Highclere castle. Friendly and welcoming on arrival. Facilities are good the swimming pool area with jacuzzi is lovely. We had a meal in the bar which was really tasty and reasonably priced. The room we had was a standard one and it did look a bit tired but for the night it was more than adequate. Couple of small things I would mention is

Bathroom.. Very dated it needs modernising.

We had room service the following morning and a couple of things were missing such as condiments and the metal tea pot was there but with no hot water in or tea cups.

We also twice had to explain we had already paid for the room when we were being charged for it again.

I would stay again but not in the room we had (310)

Had Afternoon Tea here, very nice. Friendly staff, lovely food, nice setting.

Lovely staff work very long hours but are so polite. Booked a spa package wkend, unfortunately the psycho spa receptionist slightly ruined the experience with her manners but the treatment was so relaxing which more than compensated. Probably wouldn’t stay again - hotel is quite dated, but can’t fault the majority of the staff.

Today 3 of us visited this hotel for afternoon tea, we were seated in the restaurant which was lovely and quiet, a waitress came and took our order for drinks, a second waitress came out of the kitchen saw us sat at a table, and on the return to the kitchen said to someone in the kitchen that there are customers there, to which a male voice replied loudly “Are you f*cking serious”. My friends and I were shocked to be hearing that from a member of staff. This was my first time visiting whilst, the food and restaurant were lovely it was a shame that our experience was let down by an inconsiderate member of staff.

The reception staff are super! Really helpful, friendly and polite. However, the staff in the Restaurant are not! I’m not one to complain or be negative normally but I went away for a relaxing weekend and have come away stressed, frustrated and very upset.



We booked 3 nights away as part of a company incentive that we qualified for and had to sort out childcare for our 15 week old and 3 year old.



Our first encounter with the Restaurant staff was when the waitress came to our table dropped the tongues on the floor, picked them up and continued to serve us our bread rolls with the same tongues that had just been on the floor!



This was the first of many incidents, I haven’t got time to go into them all and have emailed the hotel direct. Our second evening in the Restaurant the waiter didn’t even look up from his iPad to welcome us or seat us!



No manners, very few people skills and whether that’s due to a lack of training or that we just got a seriously bad weekend I’m not sure.
