!!BEHIND BARS!! A prolific burglar is behind bars for 6 years after admitting 45 charges. Tony Lee Grant, 29, was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on the 3rd January 2019. He was also given a four and a half year driving suspension which will start upon his release. A few of his charges were six counts of motor vehicle theft and 11 counts of burglary. Grant was arrested after a 3am pursuit in which a stolen Mercedes travelled in excess of 100MPH along the A22 toward Caterham, before it crashed.

You may have been watching Manhunt recently on ITV and saw a group of officers searching through bushes and parks. Well yesterday residents of Cromwell walk and surrounding areas in #Redhill looked out their window and saw it happening in real life. We weren't looking for a murderer, we were doing a search of the area for drugs, weapons and anything else relating to anti-social behaviour. This continues from a series of searches of the same area. We found a small amount of ca...nnabis which is good outcome for us, as it means our previous searches have acted as a deterrent for offenders. Alongside RBBC Joint Enforcement Team, Raven Housing Trust, RBBC community development officer and #SSDogs PD Rebel, PD Lottie, PD Bear and PD Jack, we conducted a search of the roads and communal areas.

Male in custody for driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving whilst over the prescibed limit.
Officers stopped the male after his 'presents' and manner of driving in the early hours of the morning caused them to become suspicious.
The male told officers that he had been on a 'very important job' all night and was merely 'tired' in an attempt to remove the officers suspicions that he had been drink driving. However a quick roadside breath test revealed he w...ell over the limit so will be spending Xmas day with us to sober up before being charged.
The male also gave officers many alias such as Nick, Mr Claus and Chris Gringle so his identity still needs to be confirmed.

No idea what it is though. 🤷‍♂️

Well what are the chances? Male who was arrested a couple of days ago has today found himself in custody again after being recalled to prison for breaching the conditions of his licence (from prison).
Officers came across the male during routine patrols and a quick check revealed he will be spending Christmas behind bars to finish the remainder of his sentence.

So today E rota NPT did their 'Secret Santa'.
The R&B FB Admin is very pleased with his gift from Father Christmas. 😂

In December, an officers diet consists of plenty of chocolate. We've been busy here at Reigate assisting other forces as well as our own, so after a 12 hour shift it is nice to come back to a bit of chocolate and a cuppa whilst doing paperwork. Thank you to the lovely family who just dropped these off. I am SURE they will go down a treat with the rotas. #hohoho #nicelist
