My name is Sarah and I have been around dogs all of my life. am currently owned by 3 dogs Geordie, Indie and Maisie. I have an Honours degree in Sports Injury Management, am First Aid trained, hold a PVG disclosure and I am fully insured. I am also trained in Sports Massage so can make sure your dogs are exercised and then help with any aches and pains you have,


I have been involved with fostering for the Blue Cross rescue for a few years and have helped to re-home many dogs into forever homes. A lot of these dogs had physical or psychological issues. I helped re-train these by using positive re-inforcement. It is through this that I have the experience of many breeds of dogs with variable temperaments. Whether it be a large breed such as a newfoundland or a small breed such as a border terrier, I will consider every dog.

Most of my spare time is spent doing Dog Agility. I compete most weekends during the summer with Geordie, travelling all over Britain and have been very successful. We are progressing well up the grades and have also qualified for Semi finals for Olympia at christmas. I am very proud of this as Geordie was a rescue dog and came to me in a very bad way. Scared of everything and in turn she was very reactive - protecting herself from everything that she perceived as a threat, which was most things. It is through sheer hard work, a lot of TLC and giving her a job to do (the agility) that she is now a well balanced dog who is a pleasure to have in my life! Indie is a work in progress at agility and she has found a love for it, however she loves people more, so prefers to run over for cuddles and then go back to the agility. Maisie is just a pup at the moment so will not be officially training for agility for quite a while, however we are doing a lot of basic obedience training and socialising with her so that she is a nice well rounded dog.

Although dogs are my main passion, I also love working with horses. Whether it be going out on a hack, or doing general yard work, I find it very relaxing. So if you are going away on holiday, or even working late and cant get out to see to the horse then i am more than happy to accommodate whatever you need.
