Tuesday 9/4/19 Weekly open Match report:- Todays open was fished by 10 anglers on Main Lake. Dull Cold weather compared to late was bit of a shock to the system from the run of spring weather we have had recently. There was fish feeding but had to be found and not Consistent last few days unlike last week and off the pace but 15 year old Jack Johns who took advantage of his Easter holidays to fish today with the adults drew peg 8 and made it work for him with a winning haul ...of 51-7 beating Neil Muir on peg 11 to 2nd with 46-1. Silvers on peg 14 was Paul Wyatt and a lovely Bream added to his smaller fish was enough for 1st with 7-6 beating Rich Butler into 2nd on peg 2. Other waters have been colouring up nicely last week and pleasure angler Andy Hawkins dropped on a busy day on the far end of Canal stretch where Carp appeared to be holding up today.

Someone has had another very busy day targeting the Silvers in the spring sun and again the odd bonus fish but this time not a Barbel but a Perch 2-6

Tuesday Match Report. 11 fished todays open in a glorious spring day on Dead Tree and Trendels again. Start was slow after a frosty start but by the end fish were being bagged fast and furious in the afternoon sun. Silvers showing very well especially on Dead Tree lake with large bags of small silvers with the odd bigger fish and overall a very very close weigh in. 1st was Alan Winsper 39-10 on Dead Tree and one fish going 12-0 on its own just beating Andy Miller at the top e...nd of Trendels with 39-02 with another good size Barbel in his bag. SILVERS was won by holidaying angler John Moore from Abervale despite even not starting fishing to over half hour after the start but still bagging 13-01 JUST beating 2nd Dave Stanbridge 13-0 both on Dead Tree. NEXT TUESDAY after the start of british summer time Draw now is 9.30 every Tuesday for the summer.

EASTER HOLIDAY VAN AVAILABILITY We have just had a cancellation for a van from a regular visitor of ours due to exchanging contracts on a house move. For those that know its the 2 bed van at the bottom behind the shop and is from Good Friday 19th April for 7 days all inclusive Accommodation, gas, power and fishing on all the main lakes for upto 4 persons and ive been asked to resale it for £245 Might consider just selling the long Easter weekend if anyone is interested.

FISHERY UPDATE:- Spring has sprung again and what a difference just 2 days makes and waters are alive. 10 fished todays weekly open on Dead Tree and Trendles. Running away with 1st on Dead Tree was Steve crowford with a very respectfull 62-8 beating Rich Butler on Trendels to 2nd with 38-7 piping Alan Winsper 3rd fishing dead opposite 35-13. Silvers on the day was Trendels Tony Lester 7-0 helped with a Barbel of 3-0 just beating Terry Dell on Dead Tree with 6-10. After months of not seeing a Barbel banked anywhere on the fishery this is the 3rd 3lb+ Barbel we have seen in 3 days from Main Lake as 2 were weighed in upto 3-5 on Sundays match.

LATE REMINDER: Open match Sunday book in either on the event page or with Dean at the shop today. Rest of the fishery open as normal tomorrow for day anglers. First day of high pressure building and a settled run of weather as well.

TUESDAY Match report Great turnout of 16 anglers showed for our weekly Tuesday match today fished on Main and Trendles on a fantastic spring like day. As a few felt the waters did not compare in ability for a change we did an over all winner and a lake winner on each but as it turned out again results were stunningly close and fears unfounded overall winner was Trendles Craig Horton 25-6 just beating lake winner on Main Terry Lenny 25-0 Trendles runner up Andy Miller 19-12 Silver Winners were Trendles Dave Stanbridge and Main Nigel Bartlett. We have again be asked to host another open this Sunday and im adding the event shortly after this post. Sunday is also first Poultry sale of the year on site so please arrive early. Also being sale day catering van will be in attendance

Fishery update:- Sundays Match (main lake) saw just 9 anglers fish. First few hours were very quiet for everyone until the afternoon when everything came alive at the same time and plenty of fish showing right upto the whistle. Top angler was peg 7 Dave Stanbridge 36-9 all but one fish landed in the last 90mins when sport was hectic 2nd Alan Winsper from the very unwanted peg 2 the last few weeks with a very mixed bag 25-12 3rd peg 8 Neil Muir 23-10. The whole rest of the fie...ld very very close all around 18lb. Silvers winner was a joint payout Barry Robson and Marco Smiff 5-14 Sunday was the first (although early) proper spring like weather and sport has been more later in the afternoon when the sun has stirred things up and even seen a few carp even doubles taking floaters from the surface over the weekend and a few better Tench showing as well, Tuesdays Match as normal tomorrow book in by 9am

Cat/Specimen Lake update:- Ian 'Mosser' McShane has just finished a session on the water landing Carp to 16lb4oz and tops the leader board with a Cat of 27lb6oz. Dont forget we still have dates left and do not forget book a session and fish it before 24th March for just £30 for the whole lake 24hours we do have dates but filling fast and best fish submitted via this page wins £30 shop voucher.

Fishery update:- The Cat/Specimen Lake Competition is off. Common Carp of 19lb12oz to beat. Part of a haul of 10 fish 9lb-19lb12oz No Cats but the water was not fished by night so plenty of room to better this yet.

Fishery update. Warmer weather has stirred things up somewhat. Few Tench showing along with other fish. Even few feeding up in the water. We have been asked again to host an open this Sunday and ive put it in an event listing.

HOLIDAY BREAK NEWSFLASH:- Half term week and the weather is looking good (Dry and 14-15 degrees all week) and we have just had a holiday van cancelled at the last minute. Its all done and ready to go anyone fancy a last minute bargain break message or ring us!!!!.

FISHERY REPORT:- Been asked to put on an open again this Sunday 17th Feb this is all go now if anyone interested. Last Sunday 10 anglers fished Main Lake with the fish having to be worked for. On the day Dean Hodder took first from the corner with 34-9 2nd the other end Paul Wyatt finding some bigger fish weighed in just 5 fish for 29-2 for 2nd. Silvers Steve Nadin 6-14. Tuesday was a quieter turnout then of late for our Tuesdays Matches and 8 fished Middle and canal. canal produced some good winter fishing for carp and silvers back in the winter but was very quiet on Tuesday with Middle being the star and returning angler Steve Nadin taking 1st overall this time with 26-15 and Nigel Bartlett winning the silvers with 8-4

FISHERY UPDATE:- Again we have been asked to host an open this Sunday as not a lot else on in the area im told and we are all systems go with this now draw 9am. Today was a weekly Tuesday open 12 fished in not the best water conditions having just defrosted from the weekends ice but there were a few to be found if approached right although weights down everyone at least had some sport and put a bag together. 1st on the day (photo'd) Terry Dell 29-14 notable from peg 2 on Main Lake that has done so little in a long time 2nd Martin Vines 28-10 3rd John Moody 23-11 Silvers were Andy Miller 10-8 for 1st with Dan Squire 7-12 for 2nd

loved my 4 days there, great fishing, great friendly & helpful staff, highly recommend, will be definately going back, for longer next time.

Somewhere there is that bit of kit that nobody’s got in stock anymore brilliant place

Just got home from another fantastic week at revels to be honest I canny fault the place been five times now for a week at a time

I deal for beginners to pro's grate staff and top fishing highly recommend

I have been to this place a few times camping and fishing loved it.

This time hired a caravan can any one tell me what I must bring on top of what to take is bedding food and any thing else

Having not fished pole before the chap in the shop was very helpful and sorted me out with all the kit needed (and very reasonable price too) gave lots of advice and guidance and then got escorted to the lake and shown the ropes. I caught a fish almost every cast and each was a carp over 2lb the largest I would guess was well over 10lb (+ a few smaller tench etc). Would recommend to all. A big thanks to all the staff :)

Have been twice in the past and booked to go again. Cheap fishing holiday-very relaxed- good fishing-great tackle shop. I absolutely love the place.

Have a family holiday here every summer. Jason and gang couldn't be more helpful, would recommend highly.

Great venue, great people, masses of fish, excellent tackle shop on site (perfect casters ).

Great place. Been twice this year already going back next week so peaceful and relaxing. Great people nothing is to much trouble.

Brilliant venue that caters for all levels of angler seasoned veteran or complete beginner. Friendly staff that are always up for a chat and laid back atmosphere
