Revival Vegetarian Eatery And Ice Cream Parlour Description
We are a fully licensed vegetarian cafe and ice cream parlour. We are a social enterprise run by Mind in Bexley working in Kent. Revival is the first step in trying to bring much needed mental health services into the area whilst working to support those recovering from mental distress through employment and voluntary opportunities. We have a full veggie menu and specialise in buddha bowls, our ice cream menu is full to bursting with sundaes, knickerbockerglory's waffles and crepes! We have a 1960's vibe and vinyl decks so music is a big part of what we do with DJ events and specialist fundraising evenings, we also welcome customers to bring in their own vinyl and we will play it for them. We pride ourselves in our approach to our menu and service, you will always find a warm welcome and our products are of the highest quality. We use all organic milk, eggs and flour and with as many other of our products as possible, all of our ice cream sugar toppings are vegan, gluten free and with no GMO, colourings, preservatives or flavourings. All of our syrups are completely sugar free and do not contain any artificial sweeteners. We are also trying to do our bit for the environment so all of our cleaning products are environmentally friendly, vegan and not tested on animals. All of our food and drink takeaway cartons are 100% compostable so if they do end up in landfill unlike other paper cups they won't be there forever! We have also taken the paper straw pledge and we will never use plastic straws (or plastic takeaway cutlery). Our aim is to challenge stigma and raise awareness by being a very visible advocate for mental health issues whilst providing a safe, fun and dynamic space for all the community to enjoy the music, healthy veggie food and the most delicious ice cream around!

We went here on Sunday to check it out for our blog. So pleased, the atmosphere is wonderful and the kids loved their vegan ice cream and myself and my husband had the vegan apple scruffs and coffee. It’s a really lovely place with a charitable heart! Well worth a visit , thank you
We visited there in April on my birthday, enjoyed great food and service. We were served by Lynne, who was very friendly and filled us in on the principles behind Revival. Loved the decor and furnishings, also the impressive vinyl decks, especially when they played a song for my birthday. We were also served by a very courteous young gentleman whose name slips my mind, A lovely evening. I would recommend whole heartedly.
We had our daughter's 5th birthday party at Revival and it was absolutely lovely.
The staff were friendly, kind, fun and very efficient; we didn't lift a finger.
Special mention for Max who fearlessly marshalled a crowd of 4 and 5 year olds through badge-making, pass the parcel, ice cream topping and more.
The atmosphere was relaxed, upbeat and fun and children and parents all had a brilliant time.

We found this gem of a vegetarian cafe in Whitstable today and what a find! Run by the mental health charity MIND as a not-for-profit venture, all proceeds support the charity. Quite apart from the charity element, the food was outstanding, freshly cooked and plentiful. There was a wide choice of light meals,main courses and fabulous desserts. All were vegetarian and many vegan and dairy free. The decor was 60s vintage and there were proper vinyl records playing and being sung along to by staff and customers. You can even bring along your own records to play! They do events and children's parties too. I'm going back very soon for the Sunday roast.

Such a great place with great atmosphere! The food is lovely and That’s coming from someone who isn’t a vegetarian. Friendly and attentive staff who are clearly very passionate about promoting positive mental health � will definitely be re-visiting !
Lovely cafe, fully vegetarian/vegan and great menu with light snacks, lunches, dinner, ice cream, milkshakes and more.
They also have a great outdoor area with a shaded section and are dog and family friendly.
Staff are really friendly and atmosphere is great (very retro). Definitely recommend this quaint little place :-)

Just back from my daughters 10th birthday party and what a fabulous venue, they danced, played games, made badges and dressed up in the photo booth! As well as eating and drinking. The 2 hrs flew by and all the kids had an absolutely amazing time! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and made it special for her and totally hassle free for me! I even got to sit down and eat one of there super tasty savoury crepes! Couldn't recommend it more highly. My younger daughter has already asked if she can have her party there ! Thanks revival!
I'm not a vegetarian but I try and eat no meat twice a week. Thanks for a lovely lunch yesterday, and the best Halloumi fries on the planet. 😍👍. Lovely vibe and great service. We'll be back! X
I visited Revival for the first time when I booked it for a party for my 30th birthday. It had come very well recommended by friends. The staff were lovely and accommodating despite me being very disorganised. When we arrived the cafe was already beautifully decorated. The food was beautiful they took good care of my vegan guests making sure that their meals were tailored to their needs. The drinks were flowing all night and they played my friends vinyls that they brought in. I have had a lot of great feedback from my friends about the tortilla chips, budha bowls, and Buffalo cauliflower! The only critique I would give is that the mains were a little big for a three course Meal with nibbles a few people struggled to finish them. Thank you for hosting my birthday and making it such a wonderful night!!!! I will be back soon.

The cafe works in partnership with the mental health charity Mind, the philosophy is great and the cafe itself has a great vibe/atmosphere. I'm excited to return. Great place to visit for veggie/vegan or GF grub, and for a wellbeing boost
Gorgeous, friendly, bright place with great atmosphere, music, lovely staff and amazing food. We had the Mother’s Day afternoon tea which was super good value for money and all homemade and delicious. Glad to hear the afternoon teas will continue! Will definitely be returning here again (and so will my mum). Also sneaked a peek at the garden which will be lovely now we are coming into spring! And a great message/cause too. Mental health is so important. Can’t praise this place enough!

An amazing initiative on so many counts. We've been on a number of occasions and found so many dishes that we love and struggle to choose each time because there are such options. We've just had an amazing Friday night takeaway - so much healthier (and tastier!) than the traditional take aways - AND the packaging is all recyclable! A business after my own heart. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Absolutely lovely experience making pancakes with friendly people, my son was a bit reluctant at first because his autism means socializing with others and new scenarios can be a bit tricky, but he soon joined in and loved it, cracking the eggs etc., the eating part was his favourite! :) Thank you again! x

Amazing atmosphere and you could clearly see that everyone was also enjoying themselves. The food was outstanding, every dish served to us was delicious and full of goodness.
