WHAT ARE THE WORKING HOURS?
... Our evening visits occur from 5-10:30pm - we would work according to your availability. Our earliest day visit starts at 7am.
IS TRAINING PROVIDED?
Yes - we provide paid two day training followed by paid shadowing till confident and ongoing training opportunities.
SHOULD I BE ABLE TO DRIVE?
Yes - you will be working in your community so driving your own car is needed.
WHAT TASKS WILL BE INVOLVED?
Everyday is different and interesting but tasks that are involved include providing companionship and support with personal care, medication, meal preparation and general housework.
ANY PROGRESSION OPPORTUNITIES?
Yes - we have positions that you can progress to in regards to finance, coordinating and other management positions. We invest in training and support our team members to progress.

DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT WORKING WITH US?
1. Can I choose the hours that I wish to work?
Yes - we have visits available from 7am-10:30pm - we work according to your availability!
... 2. Do I need experience and be able to drive?
You do NOT need experience to work with us as we provide paid training for you but you do need to drive your own car as you will be working in your community.
3. Can I work with you during the holidays if studying?
Yes - we have several students that work with us during their holidays and enjoy catching up with our clients.
4. Can I progress to other positions?
Yes - we have positions that you can progress to in regards to finance, coordinating and other management positions. We invest in training and support our team members to progress.
INTERNSHIP CARE ASSISTANT - RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be visiting clients in the community and will enable them to remain living in their home and going out to activities with your company. This involves providing companionship, personal care support, help with general housework, administering medication and meal preparation.
INTERNSHIP CARE ASSISTANT - REQUIREMENTS:
- You need to be able to drive your own car. - Abe to offer SOME availability every other weekend or one weekend day per week.
