I was there for boxing event last night. Well organised and staffed well and friendly. Yep even the door staff �

Drove over from East Kent to see Royal Blood, traffic was unbelievable!! But incredible gig, staff were great, and I don't think £5.50 for a bottle of Doom Bar and a water wasn't a bad price compared with some venues.

Been working in Reading for last two weeks so this was my local Better gym. Nice, clean and new equipment. Not a fully kitted weights area but the cardio section and the freestyle area is absolutely amazing. This gym is much better than my usual Better gyms in Pinner & Harrow than I use on a regular.

Went to this place yesterday for a cat show in the main hall it’s a nice place cafe ok but ran out of thing very quickly no forethought on how many people will attend . I think they have spent some mone here on the gym and pool but not on the toilet facilities the gent off the main hall was out of order as it was last time there was a cat show a year ago and the year before. The toilets in the reception area again badly need updating. On the whole though it didn’t spoil our day too much.

Went for a gig.

Good venue, great acoustics but not happy with paying £1.50 for 1/2 pint of a soft drink poured out of a 1.5litre bottle which cost £1.50 or less to buy in.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try out the pool as I was only there for the Rivermead 10Km. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Only ok , which is a shame, the Latte was so weak you couldn't taste coffee , I also purchased a chocolate rice krispie square, it not only looked burnt but, tasted burnt as well...the lady who served me had as much personality as the floats in the swimming pool...probably won't be back..which is a shame.

I was turned away from the family swim session with my 2-year old this weekend. I was told that the session was full despite there only being a handful of people in the pool, which was apparently because you only had enough lifeguards for less than half the pool capacity. The queue was full of people who were turned away like me, and there was clearly a waiting list of people who had come earlier. Perhaps on the hottest weekend of the year it would be a good idea, in future, to staff appropriately and expect that more people than normal may want to swim. If you are under capacity due to illness etc perhaps a note on the website telling people you are running under capacity would be worthwhile, to avoid the large number of upset children that I saw being led away this afternoon.

Went for a trial session , water fountain broken , bench press out of order and lockers don't take new pound coins so not bad then .

The cafe lets this place down. 1 person on the til and same person serving! 4 others just standing around! Ridiculous! Rubbish on the floor, around tables, ran out of milk, and still they just stood in the doorway to the kitchen. Re-train them or get rid!

Been going twice a year for model events for about four years now and still the Loo's by the side doors don't work. Inadequate, get them fixed.

Was there for comic con on Saturday, the cafe was awful!! Waited for 20 mins for a coffee. There were 2 girls leaning all over the sides chatting and drinking slushies while one girl was on till and taking/dishing out orders, 3 orders sat beside her for ages then a lady came out from the back with 2 more asking what was going on them 2 had been there for ages, then had to shift food from plate to plate to try and sort out the 6 hungry customers waiting for their orders (glad I didn’t want food!!) had to try and interrupt the riveting conversation that was going on between the 2 girls to actually get my coffee!! Next time will definitely take my own!!!

Terrible! Understaffed, generally in need of an update, and half of the leisure pool is always sectioned off for apparently no-one. Long painful waits for swimming when it appears the pool is actually mostly empty - A farce.

Staff were not helpful at all looked at me like I was an alien an too busy gossiping to answer any questions I had all I got was sorry can’t help you

Shocking customer service, despite raising a query with this organisation back in December 2017, nobody has bothered to give me a reply. I eventually got an email from someone at Rivermead called Duncan, he never bothered replying to me when I emailed him back.



What does it take to get a reply from you???? It has been over 1 month!
