While the rest of the Club were engrossed in the Ryder Cup yesterday, our scratch team were fighting their own Ryder Cup battle at Mid Kent against Sundridge Park. I think the photo speaks for itself. Well done boys!!!!! You brought it home.......not sure where we are going to display it though 😉

The Cray totally rocked the golf club last night. Shame some of you missed it but hopefully we’ll entice them back again soon 🎼🎤

This Saturday (11th August) there's something a bit different at the club - a rock night with The Cray playing live, featuring our green keeper Perry on drums, and ex green keeper Chris on vocals and guitar ... and you can wear your jeans!

Unfortunately, due to the continued drought conditions the Board of Directors have implemented a smoking ban on the golf course until further notice.

Report from the Club Manager.......Play off. Nick panting. Max Jordan. Both equalled after the 3 holes. Sudden death over 4th. Both par first time. Back to the tee. Max 4. Nick 3. Nick wins!!! Well done!!

Another big event for us today. Men’s 36 hole Scratch Open. Going is tough!! After 18 holes only 1 score below par.....out of 63 competitors!! All to play for this afternoon!

Rochester and Cobham Park is not only about a fantastic challenging golf course set in wonderful historic parkland. It is a warm and welcoming club with superb friendly staff and a great bunch of people from all walks of life. Whether it's competition or social golf or just having fun relaxing with friends and family in a beautiful setting Rochester and Cobham Park has it all.

Immaculate conditioning the best I’ve seen in Kent so far, practice facilities although I didn’t use them, look excellent too!



All the greenkeepers in Kent need to take a leaf out of this golf courses book, greens are pacey and true, and this coming from an Australian, and where I’m from the greens are lethally quick and generally very true.

Course in immaculate condition and a great test for the players in the Kent Men’s Amateur Championships

The county and players have been made very welcome by the club members and all the staff.

Special mention to the volunteers from the club who have assisted in keeping Championships running smoothly

Having played most of the top 100 rated courses it’s conceivable that with some additional work this course could break into the top 100 in my opinion. Stunning improvements over the years and a credit to all involved.
