Abbey Court is the only school in Medway catering for the profoundly disabled. Please help us Build Our Secondary Site (BOSS) so that the most disadvantaged kids in our community get the start in life they deserve.
The BOSS Campaign is organised and run by the parents of children who go (or will need to go) to Abbey Court School. We are passionate about ensuring our children get the future they deserve.

Are you tired of cuts to essential children's services, like our SureStart centres and breastfeeding groups? Fed up of inadequate transport for our secondary aged children, no secondary school for our disabled children? Driven mad by poor provision in the maternity services through no fault of the hard working staff? Struggling with spaces in schools and long waiting lists, poorly maintained parks and social groups? Appalled at the councils plans to sell an entire building ...of our free museum in Rochester, which is a vital educational resource to many parents?
Do you think its time for a change?
Rochester and Strood Labour are launching Medway Mums Network this summer. Be a part of local change, chat with local mums who are having the same experience as you are, find out what you can do to help (that fits in with the kids!)
FIRST MEETING: Wednesday 15th August 1pm at the new Strood library, Strood Highstreet. Children of all ages welcome, we are having a very short first meeting of 30mins to account for the boredom factor in small children! Regular monthly meetings will be run in school hours, and a private Facebook group has been opened for further discussion and planning.
Together we can be an unstoppable force, whether you are interested in politics or not everyone can play a part in getting the support in place that our children need.

You asked we listened!
Rochester and Strood have now got a card reader to take donations and payments for raffle tickets at meetings and social events.
We hope this will make everyone's life easier, you are just a tap away from donating, no need to hunt for that hard to find cash point in Rochester high street for example!
