I met Anna Parker-Naples at the start of 2018 and we've had 3 amazing branding shoots from then til now. Anna is an absolutely amazing woman with an incredible story that can't fail to inspire everyone she meets.
While her story is unreal and will leave you jaw dropped that's not really the thing that I noticed the most about Anna, what I really love about her is that when you meet her she just oozes confidence, you know that kind of confidence that almost makes you feel mor...e confident! I've left every shoot with her feeling energised, boosted and like I have everything I need in me to succeed.
Anna recently wrote her own book about her story and her journey to becoming a visibility coach and this was one of the images we got from her branding shoot for it. It was a freezing cold, windy day at the end of November where we shivered our way round Woburn and yet in these pics you'd never know it!

This has been my busiest Christmas period ever! Every year I'm so thankful and so proud of all the photo shoots I get to do. It makes me feel very fortunate that I get to be the one who can capture these precious family moments.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and spend all your time wrapped up with your lovely families enjoying all the food and love and twinkly lights.

Amanda and Steve's story is one of those ones that will restore your faith in love... after meeting as teenagers they drifted apart, had children with other people and then came back together years later. From the moment they got back in touch til now they've basically not been apart. They live their lives as a beautiful team with their kids by their sides.
Their wedding day was a really beautiful family day full of laughter, lots of happy tears and big extended family that have such a strong bond. It was one of those days where everyone was so happy that it was hard to see who were relatives of the bride and who were relatives of groom because everyone just seemed so close and connected!

This past 4 weeks I've been manically taking and editing approximately one million Christmas photos so haven't had a chance to post this amazing photo of this beautiful little nugget!
She was so happy just sitting in the leaves, giggling and smiling at her Mum and Dad. The autumn leaves just look so breathtaking, this is why, to me it's the most gorgeous time of year.

Just look at this beautiful Daddy Daughter moment happening right here. These times are the reason I do what I do, these smiles, these laughs, these REAL moments with REAL families.
This was one happy and relaxed family, they just laughed and smiled their way through their entire shoot and I was left feeling like they really had this family life thing down!
I think it can be so easy to fall into the trap of how a photo shoot "should" look, rather than realising that the idea... in our heads of a perfection only exists there...in our heads.
If we relax and chill the hell out then we'll get the beautiful photos that capture precious memories we want so badly and in the end we end up with something better than this idea of perfection, something like this beautiful little nugget's belly laugh...

Oh come the hell on!! At this point I've kind of lost track of how many photo shoots I've had with Hannah Armitage and every time we say we think this our favourite shoot yet but this time I 100% mean it!
I absolutely adore Autumn and the peachy colours on these leaves combined with the mustard coloured jumper and her warm new brunette do are just too much for me.
We took these for two reasons, 1. because we just can't resist a creative morning together and 2. cause Hannah has launched her new website - www.hannaharmitage.com. If you own a business but find there aren't enough hours in the day to handle social media or that you're totally overwhelmed and just need a bit of advice and assistance then hit her up, she's the best!

But can we just take a moment to appreciate how insanely stunning JP Bere JRz Pna is, legit just gave birth a freaking him a few weeks before this and somehow already looks like that!

You know those boring, backdrop, fake books in the background head shots...yeah I don't like those. Head shots don't have to be stuffy or too staged, I like to create what I call "unique head shots" and this is one of my favourites so far.
It helps that Alina Cooper is a pretty stunning subject to photograph!

Mel's my cousin, we were born only a few months apart and grew up together, most of my firsts were done with her, we made jokes together, we made up games together, we laughed together...she was one of my best friends and the fact that she was my cousin made it twice as special.
Yesterday Mel married her best friend, the love of her life and all round good egg Lizi. God it was a beautiful day, from start to finish it was just special, the ceremony was moving, the confetti s...hot epic, the reception amazing and the speeches made literally everyone cry, we were emotional wrecks by the end!

Claire and Paul have been together 13 years, they have their beautiful daughter Ruby who made them into a family and last month they went to stunning Tenby with all their nearest and dearest to tie the knot and solidify their commitment at a lovely seafront hotel.
After the ceremony we went down to the beach to get some bride and groom portraits, pretty much every other person on the beach gave them heart felt congratulations and was saying how stunning Claire Morison looked.
We got some really special photos but this one just had to be shared first, to me this really sums them up as a couple, I mean I didn't even ask them to do this!

We met when we were 9 years old waiting for our parents to pick us up after school, we've been best friends ever since. We went through secondary school together, laughed together, cried together. She was my Maid of Honour, I was hers.
When she told me that her and her husband were going to have a baby it's hard to describe how happy I felt for them.
Now their beautiful baby girl is here but I thought I'd share a shot from their maternity shoot a few weeks back in Greenwic...h Park, when the roses were in bloom, the light was just right and they were... perfect.

To me, these sorts of photos are the best, the ones that are truly real, little Holly who will one day (probably next week) conquer the world stood on a tree trunk, holding her Dad's arm for balance and smiling so hard as tries as hard as she can not to fall off.
Photos like this are why I do what I do...
