Wildlife news, events and chat from RSPB Pulborough Brooks nature reserve.

Wildlife and the environment face many threats. In the south east in particular, development such as airports, housing and ports continue to put pressure on our wild spaces, while the impacts of climate change become a growing concern.

In order to tackle these issues in the region, we respond to planning proposals, provide advice to farmers and lobby politicians.

This supports the work we carry out on our nature reserves, which are managed to protect important wildlife and habitats.

This includes estuary and intertidal habitat, lowland heaths, and extensive areas of lowland wet grassland.

We work with local businesses, landowners, other NGOs, government and communities.

Nature is amazing but it's in trouble. Let's step up and save it – together.
