To my great relief the pole fits! This beautiful bay was a tad tricky! 3 measures and dozens of emails and phone calls later as the 2 end brackets were specially made to millimetre precision, both different projections. Now I have the final drop I just have to finish the curtains. @bradleycollection polished steel pole made to measure.

So pleased with how this bay turned out. The clients put wood batons up for me to project out past their blinds, I fitted the Neo bay pole myself 👏🏻then double pleat curtains which are right on trend in a beautiful Essente fabric 👌🏻

So today I went back to the first house I made curtains for professionally 23 years ago. The curtain I made are going to be cleaned & turned into roman blinds for the new owners. This afternoon I fitted this mock roman for another client.

It’s been a busy week fitting & measuring. Thrilled with the window treatments for The Fighting Cocks in Horton Kirby. Faux roman blinds at the windows with contrasting curtains at the back door and fresh new cushions on the monks benches. All fabric conform to F/R regulations. @fightingcockshortonkirby

The windows in this bedroom were very short so I replaced the old Roman blinds with roller blinds, they roll right up to the top of the frame so don’t take out any light. Matched with blackout lined curtains, hung as high as possible to block out the light.

Interlined curtains to help insulate a 600 year old property. The house as you’d expect is listed so the beautiful windows can not be changed for modern double glazing. I kept the pleats in the Roman blind as small as I could to allow as much light in as possible. And when the sun is so bright it’s difficult to get a good photo.

Deep pelmets in a beautiful chenille velvet with a lovely cord trim and matching tie backs over floor length curtains. There’s a lot of work goes into making such large pelmets but they are my favourite thing to make, they finish off this triple aspect lounge beautifully.

Plain, simple elegance is sometimes all you need to finish a room. Ivory brushed cotton Roman blinds to replace the ivory Roman blinds that had been up for 20 years but I have fitted them inside the architrave so they fit snug & hang so much better than the previous blinds that had been fitted on the top of the architrave. . . #finishingtouches

Just fitted the shaped Roman blinds in the most beautifully renovated Victorian villa, still got more to make but the bedrooms done in time for the clients moving back in. . . #shapedromanblinds
