My old banger from about 15 years ago. This body was for the end of season caravan race. Complete with flashing blue lights.
Been sat in a box ever since.

Rye Oval Racers is an Indoor Radio Controlled Car Racing Club. We will be racing electric RC cars on a carpet track every other week.
If you are interested in joining the new Rye Oval Racers Club starting soon then a good start is to join the group. We will be starting the track build next week and hopefully be up and running within the month.
... The first class of models to be raced will be the RC Bangers. These are a low cost model to buy and maintain, but the fun factor is huge.

I used to race these noisy dirty smelly oily hunks of steel. Full contact racing with a 2-3kg lump of steel traveling 45-55mph
