a great place to shop me and my wife go in almost everyday for something

Today I had to do my weekly shop with my 4 week old baby. I can tell you this was not easy. Trying to push a pushchair and trolley at the same time was having me feeling quite defeated. Then a very nice worker by the name of stuart offered me some help. He pushed the trolley and followed me around while I did my shop chatting away and making it just that it easier. He was a godsend. If only he could get a bonus for that I would be made up. Truly a gentleman. So if anyone sees him his name is stuart he has glasses and was wearing a Santa hat, just tell him again how truly grateful I am. Merry Christmas

Cafe always busy but good good.

My local supermarket, visit every morning for the family pub and enables me to shop on a daily basis for myself for over the last 12 years. Know the Manager John Webb, always has time for a quick chat and many of the staff again I have known for a long time.

Good quality products and very well stocked from groceries, clothing, household products, possibly to me overstocked on 'pet products', then on Wednesday my Son and Grandson we all shop and then have a drink in the cafeteria.

All in all a pleasure to shop. 👍🏻

Had the cod and chips for lunch no complaints.

The tea pot was plenty big enough for one but it did have a dribbling spout while pouring.

The milk was inside the upturned cup, so I ended up with milk over me, my chair and floor, I cleaned most but the mop guy was going to take 10 minutes, but we had plenty of time as our food took over 45 minutes, then when it did arrive, there was no danger of being burnt as some of it (mega brunch) was hot but some was lukewarm at best.

They have missed an opportunity to showcase their own products as they could display menu recipes on blank/boring walls, which the customers could read while waiting

Shopping was fine. But when we came to have a toasted sandwich we had to wait 30 minutes. Also another customer had the same problem & both us & the other customer were offered somebody else's order.

Yet again I've gone to pay for my items with a card and because of a cliche in the system, the till kept refusing my card even though there were sufficient funds in my bank account. Luckily I had enough cash to pay for my items. I then checked my online banking as it worried me and yes I was correct about the amount of money in my account. I then went to inform the customer service desk as last this happened it caused chaos in the store but it was closed.

This place is going down hill especially the cafe long waits always something broken , the staff are miserable

I have just spent 1 hour trying to leave Sainsbury's carpark ! The shop is ok but shopping there on a Saturday afternoon is hopeless. Sainsbury's you need some people directing the traffic ! Totally log jammed and so many selfish drivers .

Would like to know why Sainsbury’s Petrol at Westwood Cross is 114.9 per litre and Ashford is 124.9? That’s quite a difference

Went for something hot to eat in the cafe and the queue was literally out the door. They have two tills and only 1 is being used so if you are desperate for something to eat and in a hurry, don't bother! At a busy time like a Saturday both tills should be working and there should be more people working in the kitchen to ensure fast turnaround. Food is adequate at best. You will wait sometimes more than 1/2 hour from the time you order until you actually get fed and in that time forget hot food; warm at best. Woefully inadequate!

We had an awful experience getting our Christmas food, staff were rude and unhelpful plus we were given the right food but the wrong quantities so don't have enough to go around on Christmas day. Feel cheated and very let down by sainsburys.

Understaffed & poorly run. A bad experience on every visit. Will be using another store from now on!!

Treat their employees like rubbish! My patner worked here for 3 years and I worked for 9 months! I've worked at hotels and night clubs and can honestly say this place was the worst! Don't buy from here because they charge ridilous prices! Do your self a favour and shop at Tesco or asda! Same stuff but cheaper!

Thanks so much Ashford Sainsburys for making my shopping experience more stressful than needed. Had my 1yo in the trolley seat and 3yo in the main part of the trolley. Got told by the security guard and then another member of staff to take my eldest out of the trolley, and then got stalked round the store when I had put her back in because she was screaming. Good way to further stress out an already weary mum of 2 toddlers thanks. All I wanted to do was grab a few bits of shopping.

Not happy I brought a PlayStation 4 VR deal price said £249 when I took it to the counter they charged me £399 when I asked about the price they said sorry that's the correct price but when I took them over to the games they had a look an so oh yes it's on offer but the college had a look at the bottom an said this offer ran out on the 23rd November an I purchased it on the 39th November. Would not let me have it for that price as it was a lot of money so why wasn't it taken down in the shop

Due to previous experiences we try to never visit th cafe. Only used the cafe as we had to be somewhere local for an appointment and needed a drink. This cafe is just terrible. Only us and one other in the queue and it still took 15 minutes to be served. Almost came to the point we had to abandon due to running out of time. When I complained to customer services that the cafe was terrible the girl said 'yes I know'. How bad has it got to be!!!! Come on sainsburys. I love the store but never ever could recommend the cafe. I just don't get how it's acceptable to management.
