Sainsbury'S

Only used the cafe while waiting for my car to be serviced nearby. Enjoyed a nice lunch and coffee, very friendly and cheerful staff, plus easy wi-Fi access.

Matt helped me today when I had a hand full of items while on the phone to my mum who was adding to the pile. He offered to get me a basket. Top employee who needs recognition for that simple act of kindness. Thank you Matt.

I just would like to say a massive thank you to the 2 lady’s that Work at ur store that helped me this afternoon .....my 1yr old son banged his head on the trolley and was very upset both lady’s were so caring and did all they could to help me calm him down even offered to push the trolley round so I could finish my shopping and console my son ...thanks to u both xx Sainsbury’s u have some lovely caring people working for u x

I have received excellent service today from the online team, namely Tracey, above and beyond duty, cant thank you enough - will be using you in future.

Must say the lady at the till was most helpful. I did not understand what she was asking me as her accent was very strong and I am here on holiday from South Africa. She took time to explain and showed me where to go. Although we all speak English the accents throw me a bit and we do not always call the things by the same name. Thank you cashier for your kindness and understanding.

Lovely store staff were very friendly and helpful,the butchers couldn’t have been more helpful,and the floor staff were also very friendly and helpful

Well i was informed today that Sainsburys in farlington no longer let schools cars in to practice parking ?well mr sainsbury i aint bloody telepathic so if you dont want us to teach people how to use your car park safely because you would rather your customers arrive untrained and incapable of parking. Then put a bloody sign up.



So thats another supermarket i wont buy fuel from



Anyway when the dvsa add more parking exercises to the test i am sure they will provide suitable practice areas because council car parks are out if bounds as well unless you want to allow mr bloody jobs worth the opportunity to moan

Only used the cafe, very understaffed, long queue & wait for food once ordered

Why when you eat in do you get a choice of a plastic glass or a mug to have your cold drink with! What's wrong with an actual glass? Plastic straws as well! Come on Sainsbury's you can do better than this!

Only used the cafe... We had to wait 20 minutes for our meal as they were under staffed was only one cook in kitchen long ques and busy but food was canny.

Not impressed. For the first time today I arranged to have my food shopping delivered and it hasn't arrived. I came home from a play date with my little boy to take the delivery and noticed I'd missed a call (@ 15:45, my delivery was booked between 15:00 & 16:00) I tried calling back repeatedly and didn't get through until just gone 4pm to be told my delivery wasn't coming but they could get it to me with another hour. I have voicemail on my phone a simple courtesy call as soon as they knew the driver had called in sick would have saved me cutting my day short and having to hang around the house on such a lovely day. I was actually changing my sons nappy at the time I missed the call and thought the missed call was a call I had been waiting for from elsewhere so it would have been helpful if they had left a message on my answering machine.

very disappointed with Sainsburys, they have produced a Nectar card promo and posted the vouchers so late making the promotion redundant. When I asked if the voucher could be applied retrospectively after all it was a matter of 30 minutes) the answer was no.

But helpfully I could drive back refund all my shopping apply the voucher and buy back my shopping!!!!!

Goodbye Sainsburys, hello Tesco.

just been into farlington to buy cheese and was met by a extremely rude lady behind the counter who thought it was ok to wave a small blackboard in my face and shout "we don't open till 9am " i then asked if she could just hand me the 2 bits of cheese already weighed and priced , she then hissed at me i said we're not open, i wouldn't mind but 2 of them were just standing there like book ends doing nothing, i don't expect to be spoken to like that she needs a lesson in customer services , she was a large lady with blonde hair , will get my cheese at tesco from now on !!!!!!!!

Sorry, Sainsbury's you have let us down with your Taste the difference 2 Melting in the middle COD fishcakes. Normally not bad however just had for tea and definitely not nice both had very little Cod which was tasteless and just around the very outer edge of fish cake.Loads of sauce in the middle which was also little definite taste just creamy sour. Additionally, my husband although had no fish there was a 1/2 inch fishbone, yuk. Your comments, please Sainsbury. Disappointed.

So unhappy to get a PARKING TICKET at Sainsburys Farlington!!! Vehicle has been left there in excess of three hours before as have other friends and family! At Christmas? Really? Is it just me? They are asking for £70! It does nothing for customer service. Please help me Sainsburys....

I asked the assistant on the butchers department what Sainsbury's policy is about Msg in their meat..he didn't have a clue then he shouted over to another member of staff who was filling up the shelves and his answer is what is that and oh yeah we do it by the EUROPEAN law ..still no wiser. I'm highly allergic to MSG thanks Sainsbury's not

Half the bakery section has raw pastry but when you complain they tell you it's on a timer and should be fine. THEY ARE RAW whether they are on a timer or not, just look at them. Bit more staff skill and a bit less "computer says no" please.

Be very aware of the " new" parking rules at this place.. I bought my disabled friend here to do her Christmas shopping, spent hundreds of pounds in both Sainsbury's and b and m , ended up being there 4 hrs giving money to these shops to then received a " parking fine " because I overstated the 3hrs ... signs do not display these rules but aparantly there's a sign as you drive it.. dunno bout anyone else but I'm kinda watching the road when I drive ... be careful it seems Sainsbury's and b and m are being gready.
