Your trolley man, Colin, at Slough, Uxbridge Rd. Branch, brightens my day every time I visit your store. He is often singing, always has a smile and a cheery word. He lights your store up all year, not just at Christmas.

Visited the cafe in Slough Uxbridge Road yesterday I had lasagne and chips and mum had fish and chips. We didn’t have to wait too long and when the food arrived it was piping hot and cooked just right. We have previously had the odd issue with over cooked chips etc but this time no complaints.

Thank you to the kind lady that gifted my little boy a brand new dummy when he was distraught that he had lost his somewhere in store. I hope Santa brings you something special! Xxx

I have to express my utter delight at the bargains my mum picked up in the toy sale today! Getting 100 pounds worth of toys for half price was amazing especially as I have twin boys who have birthdays the week before xmas! Thank u Sainsburys one very happy mummy and nanna and soon to be two extremely happy little boys!

Will go shopping at 10pm again on 23 Dec - empty, no queues, just helpful shelf stackers, brilliant!

Shop was mediocre however the cafe was good. Service from Anna and the team was spectacular!

It totally depends on who is working behind the counter at the time you go on. We have had very different experiences but usually go into the cafe before We go shopping.

Refused me to buy wine, as I had no I.D! I'm 45 years old. I completely understand the I.D policy, but the random I.D check was unacceptable. No common sense with the staff at that store.

On Tuesday I visited your Slough store. I’m a disabled wheelchair user, and wanted to try on some clothes to buy. The accessible changing room had a problem in that the red emergency cord for people to pull if they need help (for example if they fall on the floor) was not only tied up in knots way off the floor (photo in comments), but was also wrapped and knotted many many more times up around the metal beam over the changing room.

Even if anyone could have reached the cord (which they couldn’t from a wheelchair and definitely not from the floor), pulling it wouldn’t activate the alarm as it was so tightly wound around the beam.

I alerted a member of staff who seemed irritated to be asked to rectify the potentially dangerous situation, she seemed to want to walk off and leave it so I asked her to untie it while I was there.

She undid one knot then went to walk away, I explained that it also needed unwrapping from the beam.

She replied “but if I do that it will dangle on the floor” YES that is what it’s legally SUPPOSED TO DO!

All red emergency cords MUST hang freely ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR AT ALL TIMES. If they do not, it will prevent a disabled person from asking for help.

She said she couldn’t do it and that someone else would have to deal with it later, I am not confident that she had anyone else deal with it and would like you to confirm that it has been done.

I would also like you to ensure that all red emergency cords in your stores (changing rooms and bathrooms) are checked daily (or better still added to the regular checks throughout the day) and that all staff, for example cleaning staff who often tie these up, know that the cords need to touch the floor.

Am in the restaurant in Sainsbury's, what a joke eggs hard not everything on the plate it's not rocket science

always rate your donuts from here, but yesterday was shocked to find your jam donuts had no jam in them

Went in yesterday to purchase a poppy. Nothing on show at all, had to ask. There was a beaten up box on the tobacco kiosk counter with just the paper poppies. No collection tin to the money in either. Also not one member of staff was wearing a poppy. Sainsbury's support the British Legion.....apparently according to customer services!! Doesn't look like it

This review is for the cafe. We ordered chicken nuggets for my son which took forever to arrive. When they did arrive they were hard and dry. We complained and they made a new batch but they were the same. Unfortunately this has happened before so we won't be returning!!

This relates to the Cafe. My Father purchased a bacon sandwich from here this morning and to call it that is a disgrace! Wish I could attach a picture to this. His complaint was met with the response that "there are two rashers of bacon in there"! If you could see these rashers you would understand that whilst this may be true in the literal sense there was no substance at all. The ratio of bacon to bread was ridiculous. When other customers also comment that it's "terrible" you know there is a problem. Awful customer service and an excuse for a bacon sandwich.

Can I just say how's disappointed I am with ur cafe in Slough store, my sons was burnt and he only had 3 chicken nuggets the meal was supposed to suitable for upto a 10 year old wand it wasn't enough for a 3 year old, my partner asked for a beef baguette and he recieved very dry looking baguette and two slices of ur cheapest beef pretty packed meat. The drink machine was also broken and there was no sign up. I've have used sainsburys before on many occasions and I've never experienced anything like this, I honestly expect more from u.
