In this master bathroom, there was a very small dressing room that I decided to demolish its walls and add the area to the bathroom to make it more spacious and comfy. In my opinion, small dressing rooms are a waste of space as they have minimum clothes capacity. Will post the dressing room later

And this is the last section, I also used wood cladding around the hood, placed shelves for the spices behind it. I replaced the patterned glass with a plain one for less eye confusion.. hope u like it :)

In this section, I used a decorative wood cladding that would look nice from the living area and wouldn't give the impression that the space is crowded since it's an opened kitchen, and placed the cabinets behind it (open perpendicular to the wall) and used the full height. Thus, we have a nice and cozy look with the maximum storage space! There's a counter in the entrance side slightly higher than the kitchen's lower cabinets to block the vision of the sink from outside if it's messy.

Below is a section of a small opened kitchen that I'm recently renovating. It was dark brown, half of the section or more was tall units + refrigerator. Also the glass had square patterns and the height wasn't fully used. I demolished the entrance wall and replaced it with a decorative wood partition that would look nice from the living room and would give some more space inside the kitchen; less tall unit space that immediately blocked the eye and gave the impression that the space was crowded. I changed the color into a neutral light greenish beige that made the space more cheerful and spacious.

In small kitchens, it's best to have the maximum storage space by planning the space very well, placing the appliances, the kitchen utensils and the food supplies in their best places, choosing the right materials and colors, with minimum eye confusion of too much cabinets stuck together or too much designs/colors, establishing a final good looking, friendly and efficient space.

Light colors are usually recommended for tight areas, what if they’re not your favorite? Why not use both light and dark wood color in the same kitchen, adding life and depth to the kitchen, or you can use dark wood color and light worktop... Also, you can add different materials like stainless and glass to lighten the space.
What you can do here is limitless, Just move out of what your eyes used to see of standard sized cabinets and take the utmost advantage of customized kitchens to your existing space.
