Ali Ghanimi set up Salvage & Splinter as a career change after 17 years as a project manager. She mainly works with reclaimed wood, turning what others throw away into useful furniture and objects.

She also provides a range of carpentry services including bespoke shelving and storage, hanging doors and furniture repairs.

Eco carpentry -
Ali’s workshop runs on solar energy and elbow grease, and she uses a bike and trailer to transport her tools and materials where ever possible. Kind to wood, kind to the environment!
