Come on in and enjoy our fabulous Brand new bar! With our brand new refurbishment, we are one of the very best looking bars in Portsmouth. We offer a wide range of bottled and draught beers from around the world, fantastic quality wines and really great classic cocktails which are 2-4-1 all day every day. Slug’s seasonal menus mean that we serve excellent fresh produce, at its peak, all year round. We also offer a free party planning service which includes our famous fantastic cocktail master class, which is very popular for birthdays, hen parties and any other event; also we offer a very competitive buffet menu to meet every budget, either for work or play!

Was taken here tonight by a friend for a Christmas dinner from the minute we got there very friendly and attentive staff food was brought out at a nice spaced out time and was amazing! Cannot fault this at all! Would recommend to anyone best service and meal I've had in long time 😊
They were brilliant. Took us in last minute when we got let down somewhere else. And it was for a table of 16. There service was great and food came out really quickly and it was delicious. Worked out the best choice and everyone had a fabulous time ��
Just had your chipotle bean burger and it was incredible, hats off to you :)
Good customer service at Slug and Lettuce today. I didn't catch his name but the bartender remembered I don't like ice in my soft drinks because I have sensitive teeth so when my friend went up to order a drink for us he didn't put ice in my glass. :) Often when I've been at pubs even though I say not to put ice they always do.
Also there was a mistake with my order but it was quickly corrected and explained to me. There was another pub I went to that had argued with me on what I had ordered so I was very happy that it was sorted quickly without me having to argue.
Was very happy this evening.
Best burritos since burrito man.
Really thought I'd have to put up with the crap al burrito serve.
But nope. Best burritos in Portsmouth.
That deserves a 5 star just for that.
50% off on Monday , staff have always been friendly , one of them a little too enthusiastic but better than being miserable, food was good , what more could you ask for
The food was lovely and well presented. Given that it was a bank holiday the staff were great a little slow on the service but that's to be expected when it was so busy. Great experience definitely recommend �
Nice cider on draught..good menu choice thought we only wanted a light snack..we arrived early evening and it was quiet which was what we liked...however I'm sure it is a lively place later on..

Good atmosphere
Really like the look and style of the pub , Disappointed with the food tho , I ordered the dele burger which was burned the fries were great , my wife had dele ciabatta and sweet potato fries her fries were barely warm , we didn't complain as we were really hungry. Definitely drink there again but probably won't eat there again!
Looked nice , layout and atmosphere good ,food menu looked good , but burger was burnt and crispy , sweet potato fries cold , shame won't bother eating there again but ok for drinks , except for the steep stairs up to the toilets !
Had a great night mainly due to my freinds and their great company. The food was good, drinks were reasonably priced. Staff were freindly however their were not enough bar staff.. the tables were not cleared after food. Waited long times for drinks at bar and the music was sooo loud it hurt our ears and we couldnt hear ourselves when talking.
would been nice to have 2 different cocktails on the 241 deal?and shame they stopped monday half price meals?gone down hill im afraid used to go there quite alot!
We waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did it was cold. Wouldn't mind but it wasn't busy in there. Managed to get a full refund

Poorly managed, food took over an hour to come out; had to ask twice where our mains were, the second time they came out straight away but was cold - had obviously been sat waiting in the kitchen. Food quality was awful aside from the 12oz Steak which was very good, however we ordered 4 meals in total, starter was massively overcooked (nachos and cheese, surprisingly they got this wrong) the cheeze was rock solid like plastic.
Originally tried to order 3 x burger meals and was told they had run out of burgers, on a Saturday night! this says it all.
Staff sat around at bar drinking with friends or other members of the team - poorly run establishment.
Come on guys... if you charge that much of drinks and food .. at least supply your customers with toilet roll in the loos!
