Well what to say apart from this place is fantastic. People who really care and go that extra mile for you and with that serve great food. I've been a couple of times now and on each occasion I couldn't have asked more. The first time I was trialling the app (which is great) and when I arrived Scott went out of his way to help me find something suitable for my 3yr old nephew who is allergic to diary and soya which there was (yay). The second time was bank holiday Friday, I had just flown back from my friends wedding in Cyprus and was picking up fish and chips to celebrate my mums 60th again Scott and the team went out of their way for me and my family and my mum loved it. Thank you, we'll be back again �

Well what can I say different to what everyone else on here has already said. Not a lot. What an excellent Fish and Chip Shop. Food is out standing, I have tried it all, from Fish to Fishcakes, Sausages, and there Curry Sauce and now they are doing Cheesy Chips, just beautiful, really delicious, very generous portions, the shop is very clean, and the Staff as well as Scott really welcoming and friendly. It's a winner!!! I again used to go to Mike's Chippy until it changed hands and suddenly went down hill. So pleased it opened up just over the road to me, makes my life a lot easier. Well done guys for what you are doing keep up the good work. The best Chippy in Bridgemary and Gosport, I would say. You definitely earned your 5 stars. Thank you for being there.

We came in today for the first time and have to say the shop was very clean the staff was very friendly quick service very professional and the food was good quality and generous amounts will defo come again.....read menu is it free delivery for all orders or just the large functions thankyou :)

Scotts Plaice highly recommended by me and hubby. Their fish is perfect every time, also chips too many to count. Well worth every penny plus you now get loyalty cards. Keep up the good work the staff are always so friendly and obliging too. Make you feel welcome any day you go in.

Scotts Plaice fed 150 of us for our charity fundraising evening. It was an amazing dinner and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for your support.

Lovely bit of fish and chips. My partner loved his haddock and chips to thankyou for are lovely dinner tonight

It isn't the food that sets this plaice � apart from the rest, it is the friendly and happy environment they have created. However the food is top notch - crisp batter, great chips and a wide variety to chose from!



Also they have embraced technology and social media in such a fantastic way. All of this is to provide customer service that is second-to-none!

Great value for money. Fish and chips lovely, not greasy at all !

Great fish and chips, well worth the drive, batter was light and crispy and the cod was lovely and moist.



Chips were good but too much for me �



Try the American chip spice, an interesting alternative to plain salt. �

Great fish and chips, the standard was really good, easy use of the app to pre order a large order for my daughters birthday, will definitely use Scott’s Plaice again. Thanks guys!

Friendly staff and lovely food. It's the best fish and chip shop that's been there in years.

Fish with a light crispy batter chips some of the best of had for along time Steven was very professional and polite!we will be back !! It was worth the drive for us !!!

Fish is a good size, and batter is one of the best, chip portions are very good, they are reasonable prices and like the fact they do a rewards card and open early afternoon for a sneaky butty.. 5* staff are always friendly too..

First time I've been in here last night such a friendly welcome by all staff definitely going to be my local chip shop and the curry sauce is to die for best in town ��will be recommending to friends and family

Best fish and chips is Gosport by a mile!

After trying here for the first time tonight due to an offer on their app I'm converted...this is now my families new chip shop! All fish is cooked fresh to order, which is no mean feat in itself considering I ordered 5 large cod & chips & a cod kids meal! The cod is possibly the biggest portion I've ever seen & the chips are lovely & plentiful. The batter is light & stays crispy & the cod is cooked to perfection. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was & even the dog enjoyed the fish leftovers. The staff are lovely & the shop is immaculately clean. Seriously if you haven't tried the food here then do but just make sure you have an appetite :)
