Emergency Care Support Worker – Chertsey- (Apprenticeship) An exciting opportunity has arisen at Chertsey for an Apprenticeship role. During this programme you will be part of a frontline Accident and Emergency/Support Tier Ambulance Service, responding to emergency, urgent, routine calls and provide the very best care to the people of Surrey, assisting a Paramedic or Technician/Associate Practitioner (or working with another ECSW), you will provide ambulance aid and drive u...nder emergency blue light conditions when required. Support is always on hand. The apprenticeship is split between both classroom and practical learning which will be based out on the road. You will be expected to complete mandatory training and pass both written and practical examinations and assessments. Alongside the clinical programme you will also complete a driving assessment and emergency blue light driver training. Attention Secamb staff!!! We are looking for Registered Paramedics to fulfil SECAmb’s commitment in providing a single Paramedic response to Gatwick Airport. Through joint funding a Paramedic is to provide cover over a 16hr period, 7 days a week. The shift pattern being 06.00/14.00 and 14.00/00.00. You will exist as part of a seven- line rota. This includes relief and two lines of working on a DCA out of Gatwick Make Ready from 1st April.
