We organised a surprise 30th for my friend at The Secret Garden today. The venue staff were so amazing with everything from the moment we called up to book. They helped everything to run smoothly.



When when we arrived on the day we were greeted by Russell who, when challenged by my friend about why we were in the Glass House and not the main restaurant (she thought we were going for Afternoon Tea), gave a believable and brilliant response that deserves an Oscar nomination!



Russell in particular was great with showing us the venue the week before and talking us through any questions we had. Everyone loved the food, they catered for all dietary requirements and ensured all guests had a good time. I will absolutely recommend this venue and will definitely be back in the future!

We attended the Fawlty Towers dining experience last night and it was truly fantastic! The performance was absolutely hilarious and I would highly recommend it. Also though, the Secret Garden was a beautiful setting, the food was tasty and the staff attentive. A brilliant evening thank you.

Visited for the first time yesterday, a little treat for my mum for Mother's Day. We had such a lovely experience and loved The Secret Garden. The food was delicious, the staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a meal from the set menu but could mix with the daily menu. Plenty of choices to cater for everyone's taste. Such a beuatiful setting and lovely atmosphere while dining and lots of choices for lunch. Had a wander around the gardens before leaving. We will definitely be visiting again, maybe try the afternoon tea next time ☺️

Took my Nannie (& Grandad) to the Secret Garden for her Christmas treat. Such a beautiful setting and a very scrumptious afternoon tea. Fantastic array of cakes & treats with lots to try for all. Staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble with top ups of tea, and cream for our scones.

Amazing experience all round. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be coming back to see it in warmer weather!

From the stunning venue to the fabulous, friendly staff, who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and all of our needs were met. From day 1 viewing the venue we knew it was the perfect choice for us. The gardens were beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff made us feel like 1 big family. Laura and Stephanie were there whenever I had any queries and saw us through to the day perfectly. The venue inside was the perfect size with its beautiful, vintage, classy decor we just knew it was the one. On the day itself all of our guests commented on the exceptional food, how polite and attentive the staff were and how amazing the venue was and looked. On March 24th The Secret Garden hosted our wedding, and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect day. From the first meeting at the venue we knew it was where we wanted to get married...it's the perfect combination of classy, vintage, and fun. All staff were amazing, but Laura saw us through the entire experience with so much patience (we weren't very organised!), and has been so lovely and a pleasure to be in touch with the whole time. Everything that we wanted for our day was accommodated, and I can't stress enough how great everyone at The Secret Garden was both leading up to, and on the day. We would recommend the venue to anybody, they made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The food was amazing, lots of our guests commented that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding (we decided on the picnic option, which was fun and delicious..I'm vegan and was very well catered for as well as various guests who had allergies etc!) A really special venue that we look forward to visiting and reliving the memories of our wedding day. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it so special!

My friends took me there as a surprise for my 60th birthday. We all had a lovely time the service was fantastic. The scones and cakes were amazing my only suggestion would maybe a little more savoury e.g. baby sausage rolls would have been good. Would certainly recommend it and would love to go back for a summer visit

Love the fact that they use home grown produce and make everything from scratch. The food was really very good. We had lunch but will be going again to sample an afternoon tea which looked amazing. Staff are friendly and attentive and informative. The restaurant is charming shabby chic and the gardens are very pretty. A great find xx

I had a family lunch in The Glasshouse on Sunday to celebrate a special birthday. It was a big hit with everyone, the venue was superb, the food delicious and the service beyond reproach.



From the first time we went to The Secret Garden to meet Laura to leaving yesterday we could not fault anything, the attention to detail and the help we were given was more than enough to ensure a perfect day.



Shame Laura could not guarantee the weather - after all the weeks of hot sunny weather we had rain and wind!!! The Glasshouse certainly came into it’s own - absolutely perfect.



Many thanks to all the staff involved, you made my day.

Excellent service, love the way the menu is presented, in a book. Afternoon tea provides a wide range of delicious treats and a few surprises too, you can really taste your food here! Love that the chef cuts fresh herbs from the garden for your lunch. Just a glorious setting in the sunshine.

A real top-notch bunch of people! From our first meeting with them until our wedding day, the team was always happy to answer our questions and help us organise our big day. The coordination of the team was perfect, they were cool-headed and made the day awesome! The venue is lovely and was great for our October wedding, the indoor chapel was a great alternative to the gazebo. The food and cocktails were super tasty, and we'll certainly be back in the future, just for a more relaxing tea! Thank you to everyone who made it such an special day!

Visited for the first time yesterday, a little treat for my mum for Mother's Day. We had such a lovely experience and loved The Secret Garden. The food was delicious, the staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a meal from the set menu but could mix with the daily menu. Plenty of choices to cater for everyone's taste. Such a beuatiful setting and lovely atmosphere while dining and lots of choices for lunch. Had a wander around the gardens before leaving. We will definitely be visiting again, maybe try the afternoon tea next time ☺️

Took my Nannie (& Grandad) to the Secret Garden for her Christmas treat. Such a beautiful setting and a very scrumptious afternoon tea. Fantastic array of cakes & treats with lots to try for all. Staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble with top ups of tea, and cream for our scones.

Amazing experience all round. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be coming back to see it in warmer weather!

This has to have been our 4th or 5th visit and so worth the 40 minute drive. The pudding nice are so relaxed and enjoyable...chocolate afternoon Tea is to die for. Highly recommended xx

Thank you to the amazing secret garden for hosting the most perfect wedding day we could have ever wished for on 23rd April. From the stunning venue to the fabulous, friendly staff, who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and all of our needs were met. From day 1 viewing the venue we knew it was the perfect choice for us. The gardens were beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff made us feel like 1 big family. Laura and Stephanie were there whenever I had any queries and saw us through to the day perfectly. The venue inside was the perfect size with its beautiful, vintage, classy decor we just knew it was the one. On the day itself all of our guests commented on the exceptional food, how polite and attentive the staff were and how amazing the venue was and looked. A special thank you to Nick for the way he played along with the surprise so that she didn’t have a clue until she arrived at the gazebo and for his attention throughout our afternoon. On March 24th The Secret Garden hosted our wedding, and we couldn't have wished for a more perfect day. From the first meeting at the venue we knew it was where we wanted to get married...it's the perfect combination of classy, vintage, and fun. All staff were amazing, but Laura saw us through the entire experience with so much patience (we weren't very organised!), and has been so lovely and a pleasure to be in touch with the whole time. Everything that we wanted for our day was accommodated, and I can't stress enough how great everyone at The Secret Garden was both leading up to, and on the day. We would recommend the venue to anybody, they made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The food was amazing, lots of our guests commented that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding (we decided on the picnic option, which was fun and delicious..I'm vegan and was very well catered for as well as various guests who had allergies etc!) A really special venue that we look forward to visiting and reliving the memories of our wedding day. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it so special!

My friends took me there as a surprise for my 60th birthday. We all had a lovely time the service was fantastic. The scones and cakes were amazing my only suggestion would maybe a little more savoury e.g. baby sausage rolls would have been good. Would certainly recommend it and would love to go back for a summer visit

Love the fact that they use home grown produce and make everything from scratch. The food was really very good. We had lunch but will be going again to sample an afternoon tea which looked amazing. Staff are friendly and attentive and informative. The restaurant is charming shabby chic and the gardens are very pretty. A great find xx

Just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful day. We had a bridal shower and it was just so lovely! Venue was amazing will be recommending it to everyone I speak too! Nick was with us all day and he was charming and so helpful, nothing was too much. Nick is a true asset to your company and you can see he really enjoys his job.

I had a family lunch in The Glasshouse on Sunday to celebrate a special birthday. It was a big hit with everyone, the venue was superb, the food delicious and the service beyond reproach.



From the first time we went to The Secret Garden to meet Laura to leaving yesterday we could not fault anything, the attention to detail and the help we were given was more than enough to ensure a perfect day.



Shame Laura could not guarantee the weather - after all the weeks of hot sunny weather we had rain and wind!!! The Glasshouse certainly came into it’s own - absolutely perfect.

Had a lovely afternoon with a friend for her birthday. The staff were so attentive polite and friendly, the afternoon tea was amazing, took a doggie box home as so much. Excellent service, love the way the menu is presented, in a book. Afternoon tea provides a wide range of delicious treats and a few surprises too, you can really taste your food here! Love that the chef cuts fresh herbs from the garden for your lunch. Just a glorious setting in the sunshine.

A real top-notch bunch of people! From our first meeting with them until our wedding day, the team was always happy to answer our questions and help us organise our big day. The coordination of the team was perfect, they were cool-headed and made the day awesome! The venue is lovely and was great for our October wedding, the indoor chapel was a great alternative to the gazebo. The food and cocktails were super tasty, and we'll certainly be back in the future, just for a more relaxing tea! Thank you to everyone who made it such an special day!
