went in the evening as heard it was a bit pushchair full during the day and loved it! we even managed to come joint eight in the quiz lol. wonderful staff and great décor. fab addition and much needed in Wokingham - well done! and thanks for looking after us last night :) amazing potato burger and wonderful cheesecake and sundaes too <3 <3
visited today with a friend and my 2 year old. fantastic varied menu for any time of day food was fresh and good quality, caters for allergies and plenty of space for high chairs and pushchairs. toys and drawing for keeping little ones amused too. a new favorite place in Woki !
We went for some food this afternoon which was lovely. I had pancakes with berry compote and Greek yogurt. We took the dog and they gave her some treats and a bowl of water. Will definitely go back again. It’s lovely to be able to go for a dog walk and then go for some food and a drink with her. It’s about time there were some places in Wokingham where you can take dogs too!!
So pleased we came in today , too service food came out very quick and too an exceptional high standard and I’m fussy but the breakfast is one of the best I have had esp the sausage
Cannot wait to come back the menu is awesome and so many dishes I want to try
Tables were clean and clear and a very lovely atmosphere
Well done xx
Our favourite place to eat. Great food, great drinks, great staff and very accommodating for families and dogs! Can’t praise them enough. Make sure you have the churros...and the tapas...and the ultimate chicken burger...even their tap water tastes better
Lovely place so friendly and the food is fantastic. Popped into for brunch
Jay and Adam!!! Credit to your business. I made a comment about cocktail umbrellas and they said they will try... now I know what they meant fantastic customer service and banter. Keep up the great work.
It's a Amazing place and it's very friendly, also it's easy for wheelchairs and I love the idea my two chihuhuas could be in there too, I have never eaten out since I become gluten free, my son went to your place the week before with his nan and found out they did gluten free food. So he asked to go today for his birthday treat
Husband and I came yesterday for breakfast it was lovely staff are so nice and friendly the lady that helped us at our table was so so nice it was our first time as recommended by my sister would it be too soon to go again next Saturday lol thanks so much x x
Having a 7 year old recently diagnosed with coeliac eating out is all new at the minute. Absolutely fantastic with him and explained all cooked in separate oils and own prep area so as to avoid cross contamination. The staff were so friendly with him and made him desert too! Nothing was too much trouble. One reassured mum here and fantastic to have staff so clued up. Thank you
Great value for money. Good food and friendly service. Chilled place to relax and eat out with the family.
Fantastic place, staff very friendly and it’s like Bosco Lounge used to be before it went downhill. So lovely to have another place to bring our dogs to, it’s incredibly foggy friendly and obvious all of the staff love dogs. Will definitely be back
Had lunch there , Great food , great menu and reasonably priced
Good service
We sat outside
Only downside was people sat on other side of wall on seats smoking and could smell the disgusting smell . That was my only complaint ? But that’s people smoking !!
Perhaps a glass screen ....
otherwise very good 👍
We realy want to like the place, the atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly, the food is just ok, we’ve been there twice and on both occasions 1 of us had nearly finished our meal before the others arrived at the table probably about 10/15 min between the 2 meal arriving. And when it finally arrived last night it was wrong and had to go back, they did give us 2 drinks as a apology, nice place but mayb need get people’s meal out together.👍
Thought I'd try somewhere different for lunch with my son today but say wish I hadn't.. I SO wanted to love this place as have had great experiences at the other two Lounges but it wasn't to be..
I had to clear and wipe down the table my son and I sat at..the fish fingers on the meal my son chose were so small they could be eaten in 2 bites each (there were only 3 of them and plate looked empty!).. My son had finished his main meal before mine arrived.. My meal when it arrived was disappointing and not a patch in the veggie breakfasts at the other locations.. When ordering his dessert I was told by the person on the till quite bluntly that there were 2 to choose from and it took me returning to the table and fetching the kids menu to show get there wasn't..
On the plus side my son loved the hummus dip to start.. and a very apologetic lady called Charlotte gave us some vouchers for 2 free coffees and cake .. but to be honest I won't be hurrying back...
No tonic water on a Saturday night, they could of walked 100 feet and bought some in Wait rose to keep their customers happy. The person who served me I don't think was bar staff, maybe management, and to top it all she shouted the cost of my drinks down the bar from the till instead of walking back to where she served me and telling me. When she realised I wasn't moving she then came over and I paid. It's noisy, just like Bosch lounge. Because you insist on not having any soft furnishings, the noise of people talking bounces and echos off of all the surfaces.
Great staff and nice place to eat. Dogs are welcomed with fresh water which is a nice touch. Colourful decor and a nice vibe. Would be a 5 if they did a plain sausage not a patty with leek in. Not a good taste for breakfast. Also do a glutten free menu but very limited choice and why do a roll with a cooked breakfast when there are plenty of sliced bread options available. Based on gluten free it would be a 2. Will be back though.
Great location, nice concept and a lovely vibe. Unfortunately that’s about it we went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was a real disappointment: pancakes were shop bought (most likely from the Waitrose next door), my poached eggs undercooked (and by that I mean whites were still runny) while my husband’s fried egg was nearly cremated... this place could have a great potential with the centre of Wokingham becoming so busy, but guys you must work to improve your standards. It doesn’t take much - just some pancakes that are made from scratch, well cooked eggs and some decent bread on a side
P.S. Houmous that kids received in their snack pots was really delicious however you should consider peeling carrots to make them look more appetising.
We only tried out this cafe for a coffee and tea this morning but were very disappointed. My husband ordered a latte but got an Americano. When the latte came it was luke warm. My green tea was insipid. Not impressed!
