We went there yesterday 7 of us such a warm welcome when we arrived the service was brilliant and the food was gorgeous. It was an old school friends from the 80s getting together it was lovely.

We stayed in one of the apartments which was first class in every way. We had breakfast, dinner, coffees, cocktails and a fish and chips take-away in the lovely restaurant. Everything was excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. We will definitely be returning - hopefully when the weather is warmer and we can eat in the lovely garden!

We only stumbled across this restaurant, one of the best roast dinners I have eaten, the staff were very good aswell😃👍

Stayed in the apartments this weekend. The photos we had seen did not to it justice. Absolutely beautiful apartment. We could quite easily live here. There could be a few more cooking utensils but we survived with what we had. One down side is, obviously you stay right above the pub/restaurant. As we stayed on the weekend, it was a little noisy from the punters outside the front. Nothing major though. Closing the doors blocked out the sound efficiently. The surrounding area is beautiful. I'd recommend a walk around the national park. It's about a 7 minute drive away and it was amazing! Perfect weekend overall and such a good price. Would stay again.

Not one that sticks out in the high street of Midhurst in West Sussex. On entering your not sure if you have entered a wine bar, coffee shop or local hick sanctuary. The staff are welcoming pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxed. Once you have taken in the surroundings you realise the jars and bottles filled with local treats are for sale and not part of the decor.

The leather armchairs and bar stools to the front of house make it an ideal rest stop for weary legs. The restaurant is on a dropped level and is airy if not a little stiff. The food however us anything but. The price is very mid range and I was not expecting much, every dish I had seen delivered was well,presented and certainly all patrons enjoyed the fayre on offer. For starters I had the whitebait which is seasoned not battered and a little salty for my liking but more than acceptable, my college had the muscle chowder which was outstanding. The large portions rather spoil later courses but once tasted you will want more.

All the main dishes presented in the restaurant were well,proportioned, the popular battered cod looked delicious. I chose turkey and ham pie which I have to say was like rolling back the years to mothers baking, I could not fault the meal, the request was changed to chips rather than mash which presented no problems. My college went for the mackerel which taking away the excellent presentation was also outstanding. For such a varied menu the wine list was rather lack lustre but like us today we were driving like so many so it was not relevant.

The whole thing worked once you settle in. Definitely give this a go, you will not be disappointed.

I arranged a lunch party for my mothers 80th birthday for 20 people. Michael the assistant manager helped me with all the details and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Everyone had a wonderful time and the attention to detail from the flowers to the food was truly beyond anything I had expected. We had fabulous canapés with champagne to start with while everyone was chatting, then the variety of starters and main courses to choose from meant everyone was delighted and had what they liked, from oysters, lobster, steak and fresh fish to a delicious children's menu. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone worked very hard to make it a truly special day for our very special Mum. I would highly recommend the Seven Fish for any type of meal including the very important ones - they will really push the boat out for you and make your event everything you could wish for.

Found this little Gem on a road trip with my bestie on Sunday and so glad we did!...we had a lovely table over looking the garden and couldn't take our eyes off the mouth watering menu. All the food looked and sounded amazing, and so it was!. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the chefs are the best. If only it was more local to me, although I am already sorting out my next visit. Totally recommend a trip out to this place in a beautiful piece of the country.

Awesome venue!!! Loved the extremely energetic mainstream Jazz Quartet yesterday - highly professional and with some brilliant improvisation - and they enjoyed themselves too. An absolutely amazing place! We stayed in one of the appartments which was truly stunning. We had dinner in the restaurant which was gorgeous. The staff are all really welcoming and extremely helpful. We will definately stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

Hi, we popped in for a last minute lunch and I ended up with a full roast dinner. The beef was delicious and the vegetables melted in the mouth. Very attentive staff without being too gushing. The one and only complaint was that there were smokers outside and the smoke was wafting in through the open windows. Maybe a couple of tables marked for smokers at the bottom of the garden? Would definitely visit again.
