When I was young my parents sometimes took us here as they had the children's bits in the garden. I hadn't been for years but went recently again and it was lovely! The people who own it and the employees are really friendly and make you feel really welcome and the food is really yummy! They've just redecorated their garden area so it looks really bright and colourful now. Also they always have gorgeous hanging baskets of flowers outside and great decorations for Easter, Halloween, Christmas etc A*

Went for our Christmas work's meal there. What fantastic food, with lovely service, we all had great time.Thank you �

The staff and people are friendly, great food and i can even get the wheelchair through the doors�

The food is amazing the staff are great especially mark Jacci drew and steve always going out of their way to look after us when we come in

Real good old pub with great food...great atmosphere....pool table...darts and a few good fruit machines...

Liking the new look and staff are friendly food not a complaint from me.

Fantastic service lovely family atmosphere food great attended to all our needs bearing in mind there under going full refurb 100% going back hoping to book for xmas with the family thanks sherwood oak and all the staff can't wait for the knew look too �

Family friendly, good local pub. Makes everyone feel welcome. Great food and when not too busy staff go out of their way to wait tables. Shout out to Steve and Drew who keep you fed and watered.

Been here a few times and went yesterday for a drink with friends. The staff are friendly, service was good. Could benefit from a couple of fans when the weather is hot, although the menu made a good fan lol Would go back and recommend.

Lovely place to have a good meal with your family or a night out with friends, if you just ignore the grumpy face of some girls who work there! Loved it anyway, we'll go back for sure!

Lovely makeover, and staff are fabulous . Efficient and friendly. A special , heartfelt thanks to the man who brought over chocolates for my birthday. It was such a lovely touch and made my day!

Had a great afternoon, evening in the pub on a snowy day

Excellent food, so much to choose from the menu and excellent prices. very friendly staff couldn't do enough for you. We will be returning with family and friends. Lovely to see everyone working together.

Been a few times it get really busy but over all it a nice place for dinner would recommend to a friend

Nice food, staff attentive but lunch was spoilt by a man in the bar using the F word as every other word throughout the whole time. Sadly this has put me off ever returning.

Arrived about 19:30, with husband and the kids. Ordered food all going well lovely meal. Felt rushed by the staff just thought they were being efficient. We were sat outside and approached at 20:50 by staff stating that kids have to leave by nine. Which is fine but kids had to rush their puddings and they had only just served my husband at the bar. At no point prior to approaching us at 20:50 did they inform us of their policy around children on the premises. Why serve a drink take your money then tell you to leave. We were then reminded at nine that kids had to be gone. We stated we knew and was finishing our drinks. I ended up leaving with the kids leaving my husband to finish his drink with our friend. Husband helped me to the car then popped to the bar to get a drink for our friend to be asked if our children had left ( wouldn't serve him if they were still there). It's such a shame as we were having a nice evening. Feel they should have said something when we were ordering our food and not been so rude about it.

Man at the bar through ruined it, was rude, took the piss out of customers in front of others, had a go at all his staff in front of the customers in-front of him. Unprofessional and rude man that clearly could do with a few pointers in how to act in-front of clients and how to treat staff.
