We went to see Entebbe at 16:30 show on a weekday and the screen had recliner seats and the whole cinema was to ourselves apart from another couple of people. It was a great pleasure to watch the movie in great comfort and luxury. This is the second time we have been to Blue water to see a movie as we had a good experience the first time we decided to go again rather than locally. Will definitely be going to Blue water to see movies.

Took my daughter on Sunday for 12noon showing of The Giant Pear and we had screen 17!!!! Wow! It was fab. Loads and loads of leg room, uninterrupted view of the screen and cushioned recliner chairs. Easy self service ticket machines and refillable drinks. We were very happy and will definitely return with the whole family again soon. Great job

The XLplus screen is fantastic quality and the new recliners are wonderful.

The new balcony style layout means that wherever you are seated you have an uninterrupted view of the whole screen.

Well worth the extra £5 odd

Also the staff and helpful and courteous and the whole place was very clean

User

It was great you felt like you had your own space it was quiet and the chairs, well it was like you were o your own settee. If I had to say something negative, it was a bit cold in there for me, so more layers next time

I love this cinema as it’s clean and I enjoy going in the recliner seats which is at no extra cost. Would highly recommend going great value for money.

As a regular Friday night visitor, counter staff always chatty, and the Costa staff always ready with my extra extra extra shot Americano made just how I like it. New cinemas are best, not fussed about reclining. Still like IMAX for new marvel and fantastic beast etc movies. Almost everyone makes you feel welcome and is ready with a smile. I even take the ex if she's talking to me.

Been told Sunday cheaper using Insider card which is free, one for the future.

Taking my son to see avengers and had a great time. The only reason for not getting a better score was the condition of the seating. I felt like I was in a rocking chair as it was so dilapidated. Every time a small child or worse an adult needed to go to the toilet during the film my son and I felt like we were on a rough cross channel ferry. I can’t have a go at tiny children needing to move around especially for the toilet but I don’t expect it to impact directly on our cinema experience - unless this was meant to be a 4D experience?

Should have booked. We saw Black Panther in Screen 16, one of the new cinemas. Arriving late we had a limited choice of seats and had to sit in the front row. These are very close to the screen and resulted in a distorted perspective as if you are lying on the floor looking up at someone. Being so close you also see the pixels on the screen.

The new electric recliner seats are very comfortable, possibly too comfortable. Snoring was heard.

Really enjoyed the films seats were good too . However how the hell can these cinemas justify £3.40 for a bag of sweets when you can buy in a normal shop for £1.00 (bought separately during the film) 3 soft drinks and a bag of fruit pastilles £13.00 could have bought that for less than £5.00 in a normal shop . HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE JUSTIFY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF ? ? ? Take you own in future..........

Lovely cinema but expensive. I take my own drink and popcorn in now as out of principle, will not pay their extortionate prices. Toilets are also quite disgusting and always have been. Soap dispensers do not work properly, broken toilets and smelly. Sort it out showcase!!

I went for the last screening of the evening of Ready Player 1 in 3D . Took my own 3D glasses as i have done in the past. Some time into the previews before the film started, it tells you to put on the 3D glasses. To my disappointment, all I could see was a blurry double image that was the same with or without glasses. I left the cinema to report the issue and check that my glasses were compatible and they sent someone up some minutes later to check my story with no glasses of their own. As there was no improvement, I went and spoke to the staff member they sent up and offered them my glasses to look and then another member of the audience approached to complain as well. Again some minutes later after the feature had started the problem got resolved and the 3D started working.

It would have been nice for some sort of discount voucher as way of apology for inconvenience and future custom but no such thing happened. Restarting the film might have been nice too if nothing else.

Might just return to my local Odeon or Cineworld for my next film. £5 for a drink is a piss take on top of the ticket price.

Not a great experience. Had problems with the website before we visited as it indicated it would accept promo codes for the showing of Wind in the Willows, but then refused to accept the codes I purchased. When I tried to make a complaint about this no one was interested and I ended up having to pay full price again. When we got there no one seemed interested in seeing our tickets. We then struggled to find our seats as the lighting in the cinema was so poor. The rows have tiny little light up letters which you can hardly see and the light for our row was broken. The seat numbers are also very faint. I ended up using the torch on my phone to find our seats. Other people were also struggling to find their seats. When we found them they weren't particularly comfortable. There seemed to be a bar sticking into my back and I ended up using my coat as a cushion. The seats also seemed very low with little legroom, and I'm not particularly tall. The show was great but I don't think I'll be visiting again. We only went tonight as Cineworld at Rochester (which is far superior and cheaper) wasn't showing Wind in the Willows.

Have been going to this cinema for years now - ever since it opened instead of choosing Beckenham or Bromley - but last night was the first time in a year and was quite shocked as to the state of the seats - of course they get a high use but it’s time to replace the upholstery and rocking chairs otherwise it’s a good place and experience

User

Great cinema but prices are very expensive we wanted to buy two oasis drinks and the price was £5.50 shocking I went to boots and got 2 for £2.50 also the advertising for the biggest release infinity war was terrible and we was suppose to get a limited edition poster as we purchased online and the staff refused to help

User

Disgusting and dirty. And an admin fee charged for booking online? Really? If only I could post the photos of the filthy conditions. And the three managers were absolutely disinterested when I spoke to them about it... Awful.

User

Went last night and it was filthy in there. Bins overflowing, stairs covered in popcorn, no toilet roll in ladies toilet and floor covered in rubbish where we were sitting. The new screens are lovely so maybe they’re just not bothered with the old screens now

User

Terrible experience! So hot in screen 10!!! Came out and said to the staff twice nothing done and ended up leaving with not even an offer of a refund! Terrible customer service!!!! I’m not one to complain either and we very rarely get to spend any time together as a family, such a shame!

User

Seats in screen one make a hideous noise, metal on metal screeching! Went right through me and it happened every time you moved. Told three people and third one offered to get the manager but I had already spoken to 3 people and had the film ruined because of it. Apparently it’s been reported to maintenance and it’s fixed. Well I suggest any member of management to go and sit in 2nd row from the back and tell me that’s an acceptable noise for any chair let alone one in a cinema.

User

I normally choose here to come to as my preferred choice but heaven forbid you attempt to get a refund from then when you make a simple mistake and book the wrong day! No Refunds! Is that legal? Thank you for making life difficult for working people to contact you - absolute joke!
