We watched Peter Rabbit yesterday. Prebooked our tickets online was very easy to pick them up when we got there. Had a Costa coffee hardly any queue didnt wait long. Seats were lovely and comfortable. Had a great time today would highly recommend this cinema. Sound and screen were great.

Very impressed with this cinema. Parking is easy, which is important when you're on a visit. Seating is very comfortable, staff very friendly. Had attended for a 2d showing of Black Panther, full theatre. So opted for a 3d viewing. So glad I did. My 1st 3d experience. Not at all disappointed.

My daughter and I visited the baby viewing of Oceans 8 with my 6month old granddaughter yesterday. I had never heard of this before but was pleasantly surprised lots of mums and babies not as noisy as I was expecting the theatre was very clean (possibly because it was so early) but with comfortable and spacious seating room for pushchairs and buggys. The toilet facilities were also excellent and the staff friendly and helpful all in all an enjoyable experience that I will be more than happy to repeat .

Even though I have Vue cinema about 15 minutes from me, this cinema is far superior and worth the drive.. Amazing seats, plenty of legroom, free parking and cheaper tickets than Vue, plus you get rewards on your Insider card. Easy to book up, no need to print off tickets, just show your phone booking message to the usher and you're away. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

Always have a good experience here. Comfy seats, good Insider card deals, reasonable food prices and ample free parking. Some people on here just like a good moan.

The seats are amazing , I love the Costa there and the staff are friendly . Unfortunately I had to take a star off as the last two times I've used the ladies there has been no loo roll in some cubicles also I felt the temperature in the auditorium was a little on the cool side .

My friend and i go regularly but why oh why cant people manage a 2 hour film without eating a full scale meal!! I dont want to be bombarded with revolting smells of nachos, chips etc .... we stopped the unsociable smoking, lets stop this foul addiction of eating cooked food in a cinema. And as for popcorn eaters......dont get me stated!

User

Great cinema , but food and drink expensive..... general moan , why do people arrive late and then proceed to talk for the first 5-10mins whilst getting into the film ....be on time ... tia ....

Easy parking. Clean and comfortable. Lots of choice but I usually know what Im going to see. Saw the Andre Rieu concert from Maatrict (not live) 5th August and the cinema was fully booked. The sound was fantastic it was better than being there for real. Going again to see the live concert from Sydney Australia on January 5th 2019. The production filmed from drones was superb. Love it.

Cinema experience where every seat is a recliner and every aisle has space to walk down without disrupting fellow viewer! Sufficient height between rows to ensure the dreaded big hair in front of you does not impact on your view, even when fully reclined! Great sound too. Recommended

Was great up until we went into see the film, sat in the launch area for half hour had a couple of drink then went into screen 13 and it was disgusting, has to moved the previous peoples stuff just to sit in our seat, popcorn on our seats and all over the floor, very disappointed!!

Positives balanced by negatives.

Positives: free parking, comfy, adjustable seats, loads of legroom, a wide variety of films

Negatives: Service falls apart when anything goes wrong - I sat through a film in a screen with a faulty sound system. No apology from manager just an assurance that checks are made every hour. Complained through the website; no response whatsoever. You pay through the nose for the extra comfort.

Currently, multiplexes are mostly interested in charging what they can get away with for your tickets, selling as much ice cream, popcorn and as many hot dogs, sweets and drinks as they possibly can and keeping costs low, low low on staff, cleaning, etc..

So, if you can get discounted tickets, take your own snacks (silent, please) and cross your fingers for a showing without technical faults - which the staff (if you can find any) will tell you didn't happen - then you'll be fine.

Go quite often, twice this Easter weekend. Seats comfy but can be noisy & annoying when people decide to move them during the movie. Plenty of aisle room. Often find popcorn left or more from previous film. Love Costa but was far too busy Friday to even contemplate a visit. Generally I enjoy my visits with little problem but on my last visit I was not best pleased to have ice thrown at me by a teenager 2 seats along. Meant for her friend in the seat next to mine. No apology. At one time cinema staff would pop in & check for any problems, why can't this still happen?

Why have you not announced the power cut on your social media. People still arriving to see films and absolute chaos everywhere... your making it worse by not at least trying to stop more people from turning up and adding to the chaos....

Very disappointed! We just booked tickets for Sat. (today is Wed) and realised we use the incorrect code... I should have bought a family ticket + 1 adult adding to a total of 39.90, instead I booked 3 adults + 2 kids adding to a total of 49.50, we asked them to change it around and they refused it. It's not that we just wanted last minute straight refund... I am not too sure what to think of this policy - it seems unreasonable when in most retail transactions you are allowed to exchange within a certain period

User

Usually a pleasant experience, but the 2pm 3D Showing of Jurassic World had to be cancelled due to a power cut earlier in the day. The showing before was over running and as soon as the trailers started for our showing, the projector went off again. Not sure how a power failure was to blame as I know of other people who where watching the movie in screen 6. Had the patrons knew of the issues when they arrived, they could’ve organised an alternative time and not waste their money buying food and drink to watch a blank screen

Took my wheelchair bound Mum on a rare outing to watch Oceans 8 at Showcase Reading. The cinema we needed was upstairs. It wasn't busy and we went past several members of staff who weren't doing anything. Not at any time did they say the lift is broken, which is crucial to someone in a wheelchair. We asked to speak to the manager. After 10 to 15 mins the manager arrived and confirmed there was nothing he could do, so we asked for a refund which he agreed to. I said am sure this is discrimination against the disabled and asked if we would be compensated with complimentary tickets, but the manager said he could only give us complimentary tickets if we brought additional tickets first, ridiculous! Pathetic services from Showcase, and discriminatory towards the disabled. I'm really upset as it was one of my favourite cinemas and worth the journey to Winnersh. Oh well looks like it's Odeon and Cineworld from now on.

Disgusted of the manager today with the way she spoke to me ..rude and abrupt no good customer service atill accusing my son and his cousin running around when it wasnt it was the kids behind and guess what because they were mixed she obviously just saw colour and was ready to speculate... also not even that she didn't apologise. She said thats the end of it etc..not even that we then booked are tickets for then the till to have a clinch and to find out the tickets we booked were no longer available..The kids were gutted and traumatised of the manager and not being able to watch the film.
