So proud of my client today who let go of EIGHT rubble sacks of good quality books. She struggles to let go of things and initially wanted to try and sell many of them; when I arrived this morning she had decided that she wanted them to go to a charity instead. The Fara Book shop in Teddington were very grateful to receive them and I was very glad of their help unloading the car as they filled the boot! 😊

Great wardrobe editing session with a new client yesterday. It just goes to show that you don’t need to discard a lot to make a difference! We filled just one large bag for charity but gained lots of space by organising things differently.
I had a lovely unprompted message from the client just now:
“Hello Di, thank you so much for your help yesterday. Really pleased with the results, I think it has kickstarted a new way of living”

I love a good kitchen declutter! This was a job for a new client this week; all the cupboards were emptied, cleaned and the contents edited, reduced and organised. We used tupperware boxes to group smaller items #kitchenorganisation #calmhome #declutter #apdouk

This is why we organise after we declutter, and also recommend delaying buying any new storage until the process is finished :)

I must admit I have several of these in my bedroom! We have a TV (which mostly gets used in the morning at the weekend for watching something Disney), my iPad (I use a nighttime filter plus is has a ‘curfew’ of 10pm), I have an ottoman bed which is full of (organised) shoes and out of season clothes, and there are often a few worn clothes on the chair.

Much needed day off for me today after a weekend of cakes and parties for my now 5 year old son. Just back from a lovely, long frosty walk with my dog Indy & about to get stuck into some admin. Later I need to review our toy storage for all the new toys and games! Happy Monday all 😊

I received a lovely review from a new client this morning 😊
“We are hoping to downsize in the not too distant future but the thought of clearing the house was just too big a mountain to face. I didn't know where to start. Di's assistance and advice was absolutely invaluable in helping me to start that process. I will certainly be having some more sessions with her!”
She also mentioned that her husband, who finds it very difficult to let go of things, has been inspired to start going through some of his clothing and shoes for donation to a local homeless shelter 😊😊

What a great service. Several rooms had become no go areas and I needed help to sort them out. Di certainly did that. Now we have a lovely guest bedroom fit for guests as opposed to piles of stuff!

What a fantastic service! Thank you so much Di. I was feeling in a complete rut. Small house, two kids and so much clutter. Di provided the much needed help to break the back of our paperwork, as a busy family we just don’t get the chance. Di came to help me and did a great job! I'm a naturally untidy person and found her to be kind and supportive whilst tidying and organising my living room together. I was always in control but got lots done in the time. Many thanks and would recommend her to help others declutter!

As someone who really struggles with their organization skills making the decision to call in an expert was one of the best things I’ve done . I contacted Di from Simply organized and we discussed my problem areas and what I was hoping to achieve with the process. My goal was to have a tidy but workable kitchen and to have a study which was as paper free as possible.



I spend a lot of time cooking so the complete reorganization of my larder cupboard into categories made perfect sense and now it means I can lay my hands on whatever ingredient I want quickly and without having to pull everything else out first. Di also came up with some fabulous storage ideas for my fridge again making it instantly tidier and more user friendly.



In regard to my study, Di went through all my paperwork discarding huge chunks of accumulated papers. Many of which were out of date or been superseded. The remaining items where then categorized, labeled and filed neatly in storage containers .

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Di and her organizing wizardry to anyone who wants practical and workable solutions.
