You guys absolutely smashed it today I am the most awkward person ever food allergies, vegetarian and usually late! Thank you for my afternoon tea!
We had a fantastic time for my daughters 21st Birthday lunch. Natalie and the team did an excellent job with the customer service and how they decorated the venue for us. The food was great and the chef Dean even finished decorating the cake! There was 27 of us and I would highly recommend all the staff there. Thank you
We came here for breakfast yesterday. The service was friendly and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend �
Despite being very busy it didn’t take too long for our food to arrive. I had the chicken pie. It was huge with loads of chicken and a really tasty sauce. The wine was lovely as well and service was very friendly and faultless.
Always lively, especially as you would expect at weekends. The food always looks good, but I've never eaten in S&L Reading. Normally pop in far a cocktail or two, and with the 2 for 1 deal it makes it a great place to visit. Only down side is the constant lack of bar staff. Always find you have to wait a fair while to get served, and staff don't usually serve people in order, it's very much he or her who shouts loudest gets his or hers drinks first. But this won't stop me visiting again, because when you do get served the drinks are spot on. Cheers
£5.50 for a very small half a glass of Proseco bloody rip off.
We ordered a Long Island ice tea. Not sure if there was even any spirts in it. It seems they pre make the mixture and just add the lemon and coke after.
This is meant to help when busy. So be warned when buying cocktails in there.
Where do I start? When we entered the restaurant there were 0 staff to assist us finding our table. Upon ordering at the bar we were told that several items on the menu were not available. The manager then served another couple whilst I decided on my main, I ordered the smothered chicken but little did I know they had actually run out of bbq sauce! The manager was rude throughout the entire order process. When our food arrived it was sub-par and two of the orders were missing bbq sauce, the bbq burger literally had nothing inside. We sent three dishes back for refunds and ultimately our friend could not eat her food as by this point it was cold and she didn’t want to eat a meal by herself. When we were told we would get our refunds the manager came to our table, was very rude and made no apology for the poor experience we’d had. We will definitely not be coming back here for food.
Waited an hour for our lunch and had to keep asking about it. The food was good when it came but they are not great on customer service.
