Very good food i didnt think they did food like that a job well done for the chefs

Staff were great last night. As a party of 8 we had booked elsewhere but they had issues in their kitchen last minute so one of our group called and a very helpful guy said they could accommodate us at 8pm. We spent all night in there, ate drank and enjoyed ourselves. Slight issue with food was dealt with and I couldn't fault it. Great night, thank you �

Had a lovely time. Fish and chips with peas really good. A nice view of the river. Great

The only thing I have a problem with is there were 2 members of staff stood behind the bar chatting when one member of the team running around serving food and clearing tables. Manager needs to keep the team working together basically get a grip of what's happening with your staff

I thought the service and the food were good value even though the bar staff accidentally short changed me but he put it straight right away.



BUT the management really need to move folks on when it's nice weather, dome "customers" occupying the out door seats having one coffee and sitting there for two hours🙀🙀🙀

Definitely go back food good great cocktails ,excellent service staff very good nothing too much trouble for them very pleasant and friendly

Took my daughter for lunch on Sunday. As she is a fussy eater I requested Spaghetti Bolognese but without meat so just with spaghetti and some cheese. After saying they could do this we paid and waited. 30 minutes later the food arrived. Spaghetti Bolognese but with cheese on top of Bolognese sauce? And my bacon and cheese burger had no bacon and no cheese. Lovely spot to eat just a shame the service doesn't match the scenery

Queuing system to buy drinks/ food was a bit odd. It was busy but this created anger wait to be served than necessary. Tables needed clearing and cleaning. Bank holidays are busy but no excuse really.

Meal OK, service quite good, but no REAL ALE. £5.00 for a pint of Italian beer was OTT in my opinion.

Great for a drink on a hot day however although this is a probably a weird thing to say but I really don't understand why they offer 2 for 1 cocktails all day every day. I don't expect that over the weekend and it really slows down service when it's busy and everyone is ordering 4 cocktails each �

The next time we went to get a drink we got ignored and the member of staff decided to pour himself a vodka, cherry corkys and lemonade before serving us!!! Well done!!!

Great location but quality of food really poor. We ordered the platter to share and everything on the plate was deep fried - except the chicken kebabs that were overlooked as was the char grilled ciabatta bread. How can you burn that...? Went in at 2.00pm Thursday and ordering at bar was ok and service adequate. But you order and pay for food and drink before the service so no tipping.... maybe that's why it's only adequate...?

45mn wait for poor food. We had the small plate of grilled vegetables abd halloumi tacos. The small plates should be renamed 'miniscule' as this was, lukewarm and the halloumi certainly not grilled. I had the ramen soup with tofu which certainly wasn't stir fried but straight from the packet coated with Tamarind sauce. The broth was also very greasy and I couldn't work out how they had managed to do this; it was heavy to digest. It felt like they were cutting corners because they were busy and couldn't cope. Overpriced for what we got. I always find it odd that establishments such as this one serving food are so surprised when they get busy and find it hard to keep up with the number of orders. Makes you wonder if they realise that they are in the catering business?

We were in a really good mood when we arrived here. We couldn't believe how miserable the bar staff were , ordered two cocktails really politely and got a total blank . He seemed annoyed that he had to prepare them , his friend then came over to chat to him behind the bar , he was just as miserable. We quickly drank our drinks and left . Won't be returning .

Stopped here for lunch - four adults and a child. Asked for a table for 4 and a high chair the server behind the counter didn't even look up and just waved in the direction of the seating area and told us to 'sit wherever' Ordered a sharing platter for starter which was lovely. The problems began after that! The platter and our plates were still on the table when our main courses arrived and remained there! No one bothered to clear the starter away! We had to send one main course back as the food was cold! No one asked us if we wanted any drink refills , no one checked if the food was ok.

We waited half an hour after we had finished our mains before anyone came over to clear and then they removed 2 plates and went off to take some orders at other tables leaving us for another 20 mins!

We were going to have desserts but after waiting 40 mins to have the main course plates cleared (the starter platter remained on the table still!!) we decided to go to costa for a coffee and a cake where we might receive some actual customer service!

Won't be going back to the slug and lettuce Richmond again!

Poor services. Rude staff. Waited 35mins to get to the bar to make a food order to be told we have not got this or that on the menu.

Other people waiting longer then me to be served also left the pub and went elsewhere.



Will not be going there again.
