Went in for lunch in had a burger my wife a sandwich no problems with food well presented tasted good.Yes I would go back.

Saturday night at the Slug and Lettuce for a birthday party pre drinks

Friendly welcome and helpful bar staff too

The party 🎈 people were having jugs of cocktails and shots which looked amazing.

The music was excellent, shame we didn’t stay all evening

Popped in today for lunch, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by Jason and made to feel very welcome!

Just us 3 ladies at lunch and my daughter, he was very helpful, very quick and polite service.

Food was brilliant, will deff be coming back! And hopefully will get Jason to serve us again :) thanks.

Just had lunch here, had a wrap and chips which was very nice!! the presentation of the food was amazing! And our server Carl was very friendly and gave us great service! Would definitely recommend!

First time at all the Woking bar. The Bar was lovely looked quite new and refinished. Food and cocktails were lovely. However disappointed with the fighting and commotion later on in the evening followed by screaming aggressive girls outside while waiting for a taxi.

A group of us reserved a table for the evening and when we arrived, we were delighted that we had a section to ourselves. My best friend and I were there to celebrate our birthdays and to our surprise were given a free bottle of prosecco. Steve was just incredible the whole time from the moment we enquired to the moment we left. He was attentive and understanding. They were short staffed last night but he dealt with it professionally and efficiently. Will be recommending and booking in the future.

I was in this SnL first time on friday. As i was informed the bartender was on training, but he was so polite and bring our drinks to table so thank you for that! Calamari didnt come with tomato sauce what wason menu but just reg ketchup. And no garlic mayo either as requested.for 2 mains only complain was for lasagne were pasta was so overcooked so it was mushy. We were just too hungry to complain. Keep it up, thumbs up to the guy on training (byhimself)couse he got great people skills. �

I am absolutely appalled at the service in this place as well as getting my order wrong. My boyfriend suggested to me as a vegetarian to have the soft tacos with veg and halloumi...when he orderd he asked for these tacos and the bar tender said 'are you sure as theres only two tacos' well it was from the small plates. then came out our food, while the waiter said nothing to us I found that also very rude! I took a bite out of my tacos with out even realising, to then look down and see that the halloumi looked red and tasted odd, I said to my boyfriend this looks odd and tastes wrong. I refered to the menu to see if there was another taco but with meat and there was beef tacos...i was furious. I went and took the food to the bar and said to the bar tender that I had ordered the veg and halloumi as I am a vegetarian, but he took no responsibility and decided to blame it all on my bf saying he ordered that, he said beef... I then said to the bar tender that there is no way of him getting my order wrong when he knows I'm a vegetarian and have ordered for me a number of times. he then came over to us at the table and said we would have to pay for the halloumi one as it was our fault and ordered wrong... this made me laugh. I replied absolutely not and asked for my money back as I said I know my bf would not have ordered wrong especially if he was the one who suggested I have that course in the first place. He walked away and then disappeared for ten minutes when we decided to leave..without the refund. I will not be returning. They need to change their attitude in there and start respecting their customers.

Hi there, as a couple in our mid 40's, who very much are obviously in our mid 40's, I'd appreciate some feedback on your door policy? I understand the importance of preventing under age drinkers and the necessity of checks, however a common sense approach would tell your door personnel we are clearly over the age of 18!



It is apparent from our attire we are middle classed, well dressed and frightfully polite. We are also regulars in the Woking Slug and Lettuce. So, imagine my surprise when my boyfriend and I were turned away for not having photo ID last night. Evidently of drinking age, well turned out, polite and courteous. What other reason could the over zealous bouncers have for turning us away?

Food was awful. Ordered 3 starters for £10, after 45mins we chased it up to be told it would be ready soon. We wanted to know exactly when. The guy went into the kitchen and then our starters and main meals came out all together! We complained as after a long day at work we were starving and would of gone elsewhere, but no offers or discounts were given. The place wasn't busy?! My burger was beyond dry at £10. The steak was burnt. Would not recommend or go again. 6 other members of staff from mclaren went there same night and experienced the same disappointing food. Have advised work to keep away and stick with the OG our usual pub. Unfortunately it was closed that night for a private function. Karl the barman was cool and was the only one to give us a free drink for the designated driver. The others refused. Even though we were told it was a scheme. The food and service at the OG is awesome go there peeps!

Couldn't organise taking shit. 3 meals come. 4th doesn't appear. 2 bar prompts and 23 minutes the 4th arrive. No apology. No nothing. No offer of condiments and all three of of the previous meals cold waiting for the other. Don't bother with this place. The food was burnt.
