We are sisters from different parts of the world. We started off as support workers caring for young people and people in the community in making a difference in their lives. Although we enjoy what we do, we would also like to make a difference in the lives of people in the south of England. We have always wanted to say who we are through our food; therefore, we have decided to work together in bringing a taste of the Caribbean to Portsmouth. We will bring the flavours of the Caribbean in the many dishes that we prepare from Rice and Peas, fried /Jerk chicken, fried /steam fish, vegetarian options and many more. We have a passion for cooking and this passion is evidence in our food.

We chose the name Small Island as to represent the Small Island of Portsmouth, and also who we are as individuals of Small Caribbean Islands.
