A message from our owner Samm... #coronavirus

Hi All, We would like to add some clarity to our ever changing world at the moment. Following this evenings announcement, we are still able to open our salon (for now)! We will be keeping up our strict hygiene levels in the salon and it will be compulsory to use our hand sanitiser/hand wash upon entry to the salon, whether you have previously used your own or not. Please remember that by us choosing to come to work, we are risking our own health to keep you and your hair looking it’s best, and in return we are asking you too help keep all of us healthy. It may seem all doom and gloom at the moment, but just remember the best thing about our little town of Henley is our caring community and we will all get through this together 🧡

**CORONA VIRUS UPDATES** Following the news of Schools and Nursery’s closing, we have made the collective decision that we are going to have to refuse children being brought in with their parents for hair appointments. Our stylist Danielle, who is pregnant has chosen to stay at work for the time being in our very sterile salon and due to this, we have to keep the salon as sterile as possible. We understand that this may cause added stress, but unfortunately this is non-negotiationable. If this means you have to reschedule your appointment, please get in contact and we will bend over backwards to ensure you can get a new appointment day/time. Many thanks, Samm & Team

**CORONA VIRUS** Following the government advice this morning, we ask that any of our clients that develop a new cough/flu like symptoms, to please reschedule there appointment for at least 7 days. Samm is happy to work on his days off to accommodate this if we struggle to find an appointment in our already busy diary. Please bare in mind that we are a small business that can not afford to be closed down for 2 weeks and we also have a pregnant member of staff, so please don’t just think about yourself at this tough time, also think about others 🧡. As most of our clients may already know, our glamorous Danielle is expecting a baby!!! Danielle is due to go on maternity leave on Sat 16th May. We have a replacement for Danielle starting 2 weeks after this in June who we cannot name at present due to contractual rules with their current salon. All Danielle’s clients will be booked in with her replacement after the 16th May as Samm already has a full diary with his own clients. We are happy to offer 20% to all of Danielles existing clients who see our new stylist for the first time, but please don’t worry, they are absolutely fab too and will fit right in with the SMF HAIR family 🧡
