Solent Marine Surveys

Day trip to view a couple of boats in Holland, sadly forgot to bring a driving license, so no car 🤔 Not paying Eur350 each way for a taxi and train is nearly 4 hours ew... so straight back to Blighty 🙄

A rather nice Tofinou 12 (40') survey at Port Adriano near Palma. At not much change from 1/3 of a million for a day boat I expected it to be good though!

Visit to the Sunseeker production facility in Poole for CPD training with the International Institute of Marine Surveying - IIMS.
I wouldn't say that they don't build boats like that anymore, they clearly do - but I would say that we built boats in just that way in the 1980's. Come on guys, get with the programme - a bucket of resin and a roll of cloth manually rolled in with the smell of styrene in the air has been superceded years ago - bla bla
