WOW! Our #MacmillanCoffeeMorning raised a brilliant £434.77 for @macmillancancer with a very special donation from a 91 year old lady, who lives near a member of staff, in memory of 15 year old Ollie. From everyone here Spire Dunedin Hospitla - Thank you. It was a great display and we really appreciate the hard work put in by Nicky Durbridge and Ceri King in organising it. #TogetherWeCan

Summer might be coming to an end but are you planning next years holiday already?
Are you worried that if it is as hot as this year's you won't be able to wear what you'd like because of varicose veins and will have to suffer in the heat with your legs covered?
Do you have some questions you'd like to ask about the vascular treatments we perform at Spire Dunedin Hospital?
... Why not spend 5 minutes reading Professor Tim Magee's FAQ on varicose veins and book a 10 minute free consultation >> http://bit.ly/VaricoseVeinsAtDunedin

Being overweight could lead to a string of concurrent health conditions - for instance type 2 diabetes - and directly affects a person's quality of life. In the UK weight is now a bigger challenge than ever, as a result of the obesogenic environment in which people are exposed to unhealthy foods that are cheap and readily available. Current public health systems are struggling to cope and it can be at least 18 months before an individual is referred to a Consultant. Even then... funding may not be available.
It is not easy to hide weight issues and those suffering from obesity will often be well informed about the clinical options for weight loss, but may have questions that they still need to ask an expert.
If you have been considering weight loss surgery, why not come along and meet our weight loss team on the evening of Wednesday 26th September and ask the questions that matter to you. You will have a chance to talk directly to our weight loss team and with those who have been through surgery, with no obligation.
You will also be able to see both the Elipse and Orbera weight loss balloons. The Elipse is our latest procedure and is a 6 month comprehensive weight-loss program that could help start your weight loss journey, without the need for surgery.
The event will be held on the evening of September 26th, between 6:30pm and 8pm, at 16 Bath Road, RG1 6NS. There is free car parking available on-site.

A date for your diary's! We're proud to be a Macmillan Cancer Support accredited chemotherapy clinic and on September 28th we will be taking part in The World's Biggest Coffee Morning, raising funds for those diagnosed with Cancer.
Last year over £27 million was raised. Can you bake a cake or provide us with produce, perhaps from your allotment (it's #NationalAllotmentWeek !), that we can sell?
