We have 38 private en-suite bedrooms, most of which overlook our peaceful gardens, offering flat screen TV and free WI-FI access along with two critical care rooms. We have comprehensive
diagnostic facilities including an MRI Scanner,
digital mammography, X-rays and ultrasound scans.

Orthopaedic Surgery: Specialist techniques such as Birmingham hip resurfacing and corrective hip procedures, as well as traditional hip replacement and knee replacement
Gynaecology: hysteroscopy, vaginal repair
Cosmetic Surgery
Weight loss Surgery
Breast Care: Breast clinics are available for rapid diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, including a new single dose intra-operative radiotherapy treatment and reconstructive surgery
General Surgery: hernia repair, prostate surgery
Ophthalmology: cataract removal
We accept most major private medical insurers; you can askSpire Nurse
your GP to refer you to Spire Thames Valley Hospital. If you
would like to pay for your own treatment, ‘Spire self-pay’ offers
a fixed price for treatment agreed in advance with no hidden
costs. We can also offer 0% finance loans through a third party
provider.
Some of our services are available through the NHS Choose and
Book system. NHS choices is a service that lets you choose the
hospital where you want to have your treatment. You can discuss
this with your GP.

Went into Spire Thames Valley hospital to have a total knee replacement operation, was really scared and anxious but the nurses, consultant and anaesthetist were all really great explaining everything and calmed my fears. The level of care is excellent from everyone from consultant to cleaners and kitchen staff. Food is homemade and tastes superb and is good quality. Nothing was too much trouble to accommodate, friendly, welcoming, helpful and informative staff. Thank you all very much for taking care of me and making something I was dreading into an enjoyable stay.
Was here for knee replacement the staff were amazing the quality of care was second to none.
The catering staff were very friendly and approachable nothing was too much trouble and the food was fabulous.

The hospital was amazing, excellent facilities, I received first class care and assistance from all the staff/nurses, even the porter that walked me to my room. My recovery process in hospital went smoothly and stress free and cintinues at home today as I'm able to contact the ward even after being discharged if I have any problems. I cannot fault my stay at this hospital in any way.
The Spire was clean the staff was fantastic and looked after my daughter with the highest professionalism which is all I could ask for with private care. Thank you very much.

Staff and facilities were five star all the way. Everything was explained to me in every detail. The standard exceeded my expectations in every way. Not that I want to rush back but if I had to it would be a pleasure.
Lovely clean hospital, great facilities. Staff were brilliant, very attentive and caring, especially my main Nurse Maureen who just went above and beyond with everything she did. I would highly recommend this hospital and am glad I chose it.

The staff are friendly made me fill at ease from the moment you walk through the front door.
I was extremely nervous, everything was explained to me prior the operation even when I was walking through to the operating table the anaesthetists are fantastic and the aftercare is second to none made a scary experience worth it....
I was in with my first hip 19th of July then my second hip 8th of November each time was absolutely amazing for having two such big operation the porters and all the nursing staff couldn't do enough for me my amazing physio team were brilliant expecially young sam it all went so well thank you team for making my stay so easy ps the food was fabulous and all the food team had a good understanding of my food allergies many thanks to you all Rosalind Arthur
Had surgery with MR.Humadi and he's successfully changed my life for the better
I willing be forever grateful.My nurses were amazing and caring,they made me feel completely comfortable as i was really panicking before surgery.Vince the specialist was very informative and allowed me to know the ins and out about my gallbladder and stones,he was a great laugh too. I was passed through as a NHS patient and they still made me feel top priority,hospital hygiene for me was 10/10
Had a total knee replacement a week ago, was rather nervous but welcomed by wonderful kind nursing staff. I cant fault my stay in the hospital, every one was so kind and caring at all levels, from surgeon to cleaner. Thankyou very much all involved in my care.

Back at Spire TV yesterday for my second knee op in 2 years after the left leg was very successful.
Care was amazing from the minute I walked in to getting help to the car to leave some 12 hours later.
Everyone is busy there but each of them took time to explain everything to me and make me a cuppa when I needed it. The nurse even took time to explain to my 10 year old what she was doing as she cleaned my wound and re-dressed it. He loved it.
Today I am back home and a little sore but thanks to everyone at Spire TV I will soon be skipping like a young gazelle (perhaps)

Very nice hospital, staffs are lovely and attentive. My friend was there for several days but sadly she developed complication and Spire didn't have the right equipment to treat her so she was transferred to the Paragon suite of Wexham hospital. Definitely not the same service! It's a shame Spires lacks equipment to help patient suffering complication.
Great care great nurses friendly staff in for round 5 of my chemo whilst I don't look forward to this every 3 weeks the attention I am given every time is a lift so thank you Eileen,pria,Lesley,jane,and all the staff not mentioned. Xx
