We have been a happy Family Fit4 member for the past 5 years. Great value of money as swimming lesson is also included for our 3 children. We find all the staff very friendly and helpful. We have lost quite a few personal stuffs but the management were so just amazing..

User

Water aerobics with Lucie is great. Lots of fun and a great workout.

User

Our 13 month old has been attending swimming lessons elsewhere since he was 4 months old but has always disliked it and it's recently got worse. So we took him to the Parent and Baby Session today for the first time and he loved it. He enjoyed the freedom of the really shallow area and was shuffling around playing with the toys. Very warm, very clean and very helpful staff. We will be back next week

User

It’s a great place to swim, either for fun with my little girl or for serious exercise and the staff are both friendly and helpful.

User

I like to go swimming before work, it's becoming impossible in the slow (I'm too slow for the medium lane) it's just packed with oaps who don't really swim they seem to just float. It would be nice if there was an extra slow lane so people like me don't have much time before work. Also the showers on the ground floor are absolutely filthy next time I'm in I'll take photos and show the manager. Becoming very disappointed with splash point.

User

Great place for a swim, friendly staff :)

User

Friendly staff always and fab place to train or relax

User

We were visiting the area and I took my children (11y and 7y) to Splashpoint for a swim. They enjoyed the yellow slide but an hour was long enough in the splash pool. It was lovely and warm, not so much in the smaller laned pool which felt chilly, even when swimming.

Staff were very helpful when I asked questions and overall we enjoyed our visit.

User

Nice gym, amazing classes with super qualified instructors.

Modern machines and treadmills.

It lacks cleaningnes.

Changing rooms are dirty, mouldy and very smelly, same as the spa area. I don't think they have a good cleaning system in there. This is so important in a such a public place. It needs disinfecting and a very good rub. You are in constant risk of cross infections.

If you just enjoy gymming it or just going to clases and then go home all sweaty this gym has just that.

User

Usually everything runs smoothly and we are very happy. Yesterday, however the systems seemed to go down.

I queued behind several other parents and children at the cafe for over 10 minutes to then be told that the card machine wasn't working. When I suggested that they print a sign to save people waiting I was told that the printer was also not working. When I then suggested "just writing one" to save them having to deal with annoyed customers I was laughed at! This is not my usual experience of Splashpoint or the cafe and perhaps it was much busier than usual being half term, but the customer service could have been improved!!

User

I normally come here every week with my four year old daughter. Generally is ok, front desk staff seem disinterested, only six family changing rooms but I can deal with minor problems.

Today though they sunk to a new low with lifeguard attitude. Told my daughter not to stand on the float. Fair enough but to tell us the other life guard had been trying to whistle at us, why didn't they just come over ten mins ago when she started, instead of giving up then sending over Mr Total Lack of Customer Service, made my four year old cry. Really unimpressed, think you're the big man because you've got a whistle, next time I'll shove it down your throat. Sort yourself out douchbag.

User

Worst swimming experience I have had. Took my nephews who are visiting and they were just as disappointed. Lack of actual swing space and the pool was at a ridiculous d ph of 1.2 meters. When asked what activities were on the response was "im not sure probably nothing" having only been in the pool for 5 minutes we all wanted to leave. Then when in the "fun" pool I was asked Rudely by a jobs worth life guard not to splash as it would make the floor wet !! I mean a swimming pool with a wet floor now that's a new one !! After this I left shortly after as I felt the place was not in one way a friendly fun family place more for your gran going with her pals place.

User

Took my daughter swimming in half term to be told I had to buy tickets then come back in two hours time as they were completely full. When we finally got in the water there was no space to actually try to teach your child to swim.

I also asked about swimming lessons but was told there was a waiting list with over 100 children currently on it.

This new pool is a joke, way to small, why did they knock down the old pool then build a new one half the size? This needs expanding and fast.

User

This pool is freezing! I was told it was 29 degrees which it definitely wasn’t, a total waste of money and not an enjoyable swimming experience!

User

This is just a review of taking kids to swimming lessons. The customer experience is poor. Parking, a hassle. The front desk, awful. You queue, staff ignore you, staff go off and take their coffee break, staff go off and do other things that need doing...I just want my £2 parking money back and 3 tokens to get in! The changing rooms, lockers you put up with it. Then the heat, spend an hour in there, it is like torture. Nice cafe afterwards, no very much the feel of a half hearted bolt on. I do not enjoy visiting there at all.

User

Pitiful excuse for a swimming pool. Trying to please everyone by trying to do everything and achieving nothing. Forget doing lengths in Main pool as there are usually only two lanes open one of which is occupied by (with all due respect) slow swimmers and the other by about 20 Michael phelps clones. Outside pool seemed to be closed for the whole of the summer and although kids section seems ok it's just too small for a population this size.also the front of house staff were rude. Something has gone seriously wrong with this development and whoever is responsible needs their head testing. The aquarena was a brilliant, vibrant pool which i loved. This place is just a joke

User

One hour wait to get in, even though the pool looked half empty. Waste of time and money.

User

My son had a serious issue with his eyes after swimming here due to the chlorine! I whizzed him straight to the pharmacy for soothing eye drops! Very shortly after this episode he started to develop sight problems and eye strain leading to long and short sightedness! Maybe be a coincidence, maybe not (we’ll never know) but regardless, the chlorine levels were, and still are, way too strong in my opinion!

User

Fun place to swim but if your child goes there for school lessons beware one of the instructors has no idea how to teach kids with little confidence. Ay Haley bourne
