Family service at St Laurence's tomorrow Sunday 30th June at 11am. Fun listening activity beforehand in the hall, along with coffee/tea etc.

St Mary's - Drop Down Screen At Long Last, the work can begin on the installation of the drop down screen at St. Mary's Church. The electrical work, which will include the need to erect a scaffolding tower will take place on the 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th July.
... It will be necessary, for the safety of all concerned, to close St Mary's Church during the day on 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th July.
Thursday, 4th July: Holy Communion and Coffee Time will take place in St Laurence's Church starting at 10.00 am
Thursday, 4th July: Afternoon Tea and cakes at St Mary's is cancelled this week only.
Wednesday 3rd, and 10th July. Holy Communion will take place as usual at 6.30 pm at St Mary's
Jean Thorne's funeral will take place on 28th June at Worthing Crematorium.
A donation was given for the flowers this week at the time of two significant anniversaries. May the beauty of the flowers celebrate the lives of the two loved ones who have gone before.
Traidcraft – The Traidcraft Stall will be open today. I am still hoping someone (or two) will come forward and offer to help on a long-term basis with the stall, otherwise I am afraid this venture will close. St Laurence's Fellowship will meet on Friday, 19th July at 2.30 pm. We will have an illustrated talk from Isobel about her work in Africa. She has invited us to her home at 10, Seafield Avenue (the sea end)
St Mary’s Social Circle- Race Night comes back to Goring. This is a fun interactive evening for everyone to come along and enjoy, which will also include a Ploughman’s Supper. This will be an open evening so please pop the date in your diaries and bring along any guests you would like to invite on Thursday 25th July at 7.30pm . The price will be £7.50 member and £8.50 non-members. So please book your ticket from Sarah 01903 535289, numbers will be needed for us to plan the catering. Due to unforeseen circumstances the Afternoon Tea is now on Saturday 10th

St Mary’s Social Circle- Our next event will be an outing to Wyevale Garden Centre, in Ferring to enjoy an Afternoon Tea on Thursday 27th June at 3.00pm in the Conservatory. The cost is £14.00 for Two, do come along and enjoy a browse round the many stalls, plants and gifts the centre holds. Please contact Linda on 01903 368582 to reserve your place, as we do need to confirm numbers with the restaurant. Race Night comes back to Goring. This is a fun interactive evening for everyone to come along and enjoy, which will also include a Ploughman’s Supper.
