We are a large, Cathedral like church in Derbyshire overseeing five smaller village churches. We have a full robed choir, opportunity to have BCP worship, Common worship services and a more relaxed Breakfast church for families once a month.

An absolutely fantastic morning had by everyone at St Oswalds for Edward Bear‚Äôs parachuting! Thank you to everyone that came along and thank you to all involved from selling Ozzie bears, registration for the parachuting, the Bearamedics, Launch Masters, making cakes and to those doing the refreshments üôèüòäüòä
Derbyshire Singers perform at St John’s Ashbourne
This is going to be an amazing concert on Saturday June 23rd at 7.30pm. We are opening with Handle’s ‘Zadok the Priest’ and, judging by the fabulous sound we made in rehearsal this week, the audience will be blown away by when we get to sing it in St. John’s Church, Ashbourne, with its brilliant acoustics. There are many uplifting choruses by Handel, Haydn, Rutter, Brahms and the beautifully haunting Allegri’s Miserere. We ar...e joined by professional soloists Lucy Hall (soprano) and Anthony Thompson (trumpet) along with John Keys (organist).
