Stagecoach Performing Arts Harpenden Description
With over 700 theatre schools and more than 40, 000 students worldwide, Stagecoach is the UK's largest network of part time performing arts schools for children. Since our inception in 1988, our singing, acting and dancing classes have helped to build the confidence of many thousands of children, as well as providing a springboard for some of the country's leading young performers.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, ‘CATS’, will soon be hitting our screens! This timeless musical is set to be remade for film, under the watchful eye of ‘Les Miserables’ director, Tom Hooper. There are many famous faces lined up to appear in the movie – read more here!
In just two days’ time (24th May), the re-make of Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ will hit cinemas, starring Will Smith as the Genie. Robin Williams famously took on the original part and according to sources, recorded the lines up to 20 different ways – wow! “Williams was available for only a handful of recording sessions. So he’d rapid-fire each line as written, in as many different styles as he could create. Robin had so much freedom, and [ad-libbing] was always encouraged," Goldberg told Entertainment Weekly. We look forward to seeing the new version – do you think it will measure up?

Yesterday, Stagecoach Performing Arts Harpenden Principal Liz enjoyed spending the day at ITV's This Morning Live. She even managed to get a picture with the Silver Fox and their NTA!
Calling all Main School parents from Stagecoach Performing Arts Harpenden – it's Parents Do Stagecoach time! We are delighted to be running our special sessions on 7th/8th June. Parents will experience what life is like for our students, whilst having lots of fun – leg warmers are optional! Don't forget to add the date to your diary, register with Liz and pick up a sponsorship form from reception, so we can raise loads of money for Heads Together.

Rehearsing for a performance takes a long time, a lot of dedication and of course, lots of hard work – can you imagine if one scene took a whole year to put together? That’s exactly how long it took the team working on Mary Poppins Returns to film the animated scene. Wow! Click the link to see how it was done.
