PUBLIC NOTICE This morning our Head Forester reported finding a roe deer which had been attacked by a family pet in the forest and subsequently had to be put out of its misery by estate staff. Incidents of atrocious attacks by uncontrolled dogs on the estate are increasing at an alarming rate, causing untold stress and suffering. It is the responsibility of dog owners to ensure that their animals are exercised without causing nuisance to other users of the countryside and dis...turbance and destruction of wildlife. If your dog is not steady to wildlife, runs off and cannot be recalled then please keep it on a lead at all times. If you have any information on uncontrolled dogs on the estate please report to the estate office to help us identify those responsible.

please please pass on my congratulations to everyone involved in the Il Divo concert !! I had the most amazing time and it was an absolute pleasure to visit such a perfect venue and it was so well organised we will definitely be back , once again well done to everyone x

User

We were at the Michael Ball & Alfie Boe concert on Wednesday evening. It was our first time at Stansted Park and we thought it was amazing. What a fantastic venue for an open air concert

Leaving the event was not easy as we were waiting for over an hour in the car park but we made the best of the situation by chatting and laughing with the people in the cars around us! Not everybody was grumpy and we certainly didn't want to let it spoil what had been a truly brilliant evening

Thank you! 😃

User

The cliff concert was brilliant but the car parking was horrendous no light's or security when it had finished they should of opened the other gate one way in and one way out it's a wonder no-one got run over in the rush people with walking sticks and wheelchairs were walking down dark country lanes let's hope it's better on Wednesday evening

User

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe were phenomenal on a perfect summers evening. OK, car parking a bit crazy on getting out ... we took our picnic chairs and sat for almost 3/4 hour to let the rush to get out die down before we tackled the queue. My thoughts were that obviously we all wanted to get home asap but if people weren't so flippin selfish and let a car out from the lanes, say every other one, then perhaps it might have moved better. We sat watching a few cars that were obviously determined that nobody was going to go in front of them and almost sat on peoples bumpers.

User

Love it here. Usually very busy but so well organised you rarely have to wait too long to be seated or served.

Fantastic location. Can definitely recommend it for a morning or afternoon visit. Lots to see and do 👍🏼

User

It was the most interesting place and the grounds are beautiful , vast. , great place for an picnic or go to tea rooms xxx

User

Fantastic place, lovely views all around and very clean area. Had a bit of a problem getting out, but not as bad as other places and it was to be expected if you have hundreds of cars and thousands of people. Only thing was the "Screens". They aren`t large enough - I had to sit on a coat and virtually crane my neck to try and see the screen and couldn`t see the stage that well and I was in Row J - goodness knows how people managed behind us. I did notice most people were looking at the small screen rather than the stage - GET LARGER SCREENS

User

Fab playground, brilliant cafes both inside the garden centre and in the main park, gorgeous little steam train for the kids and the staff are all very friendly. The house seems beautiful from the outside. The grounds surrounding the house are definitely worth walking around. Love it.

User

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with two friends yesterday. Showed to a seat for 3 as soon as we arrived even though the place was heaving at noon. Couldn't fault the salad I had- grilled goats cheese and roasted pepper salad. Delicious. Then had the ginger cake and tea. Heavenly. Had a lovely catch-up for nearly 3 hours and were attended to brilliantly. Definitely will be there again! Thank you.

User

Enjoyed a charming, traditional afternoon tea in The Pavilion Room. The service was excellent as well as the food. Sandwiches were all full to the brim and tasted delicious. Scones were large with loads of clotted cream and jam and the small cakes were ideal and just perfect at the end? Great experience- will definitely be back.

User

Amazing place with lovely orangery x

User

Admittedly the World Cup or whatever it's called was on and the weather was baking so people were either at home or naked on the beach. This meant we could enjoy the grounds away from the crowds.

£10 each to look round the house-probably on a par with some national trust places. The staff were all very friendly-"John" deserves a mention as while the chapel was shut he took the time to take three of us round there anyway. The staff were all knowledgeable about the house.

There's a tiny railway in the grounds that need more signage-the chaps there were very friendly.

Had a lovely lunch in the pavilion cafe-a panini that appeared quickly when they seemed pretty busy at that time. Not a fan of the sultanas with the grated carrot but they didn't get wasted-the birds enjoyed them. The ice cream in the garden centre was lovely and just shy of £2 for two scoops. You'd pay more for a magnum while out these days.

The lady in the games area was friendly-she was shutting up but let us in to look around now we had decided to bring the nephew up there. You don't need to spend money here-bring a picnic and enjoy the grounds.

User

Absolutely an amazing show. Loved the ambiance and the show. I just think the exit was chaos. Stewards seemed to have no sense of direction or what they were supposed to do. People took their life in their hands walking in front of moving cars and too long to get out.I cogratulate the lady staff who seated A2 before the show. She was amazing and told every person that she hoped they'd enjoy the show. She was relentless in her customer service. Star of the staff xxx

User

Went to the Cliff concert there. Everything was great apart from the ridiculous exit disorganisation from the car park. It took 2 hours to get out & 1 1/2 of that was just sat waiting for somebody to organise the situation. Eventually two attendants told us to turn round & use other exit! Took longer to get out than Cliff was on stage. Can't believe you can let this happen

User

Not very clear where to park when we arrived

The concept was excellent and there's room to build on this

Not impressed that the pavilion shut when people were still there... better catering for refreshments next year please

User

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe were brilliant and with great weather it was a wonderful night until the time to leave. The Stewards were very slow at controlling the traffic. I was sat stationary for about 45 minutes in the queue in the middle of the car park while those at the top raced down the road adjacent not letting anybody exit at the bottom car park junction.

User

That would normally be a 5 star not the 3. I have given today, the park, the Pavillion, the grounds beautiful and have visited many times BUT Cliff Richard concert left a lot to be desired. It was good to have seating but why were they directly behind each other which enabled you to see only the back of the persons head in front of you? They should have been staggered which would have afforded a better view.

We have seen Sir Cliff a few times but not in an open air concert so maybe We have a lot to learn? What was all that waiting about all about?? We got there just after 5 pm. Collabro came on at 7-30 and were very good and then NOTHING until Cliff came on at 8-55! When I thought he had some 'technical issues' but rose above them and was good to see. THEN the fight to get out of the car park was atrocious. Absolutely NO organisation at all it took us nearly two hours only to be told by the first 'official' to be seen to very sternly say "C'mon" as we eventually arrived at the gate!! as if we had been hanging about for our own good!! I could have throttled her!! As for all the people who couldn't find their cars in the dark and the chaos we really felt for them with no one in authority to help them. Let's hope ALOT of lessons have been learned and future concerts will be organised far better.

User

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe were amazing however the lack of organisation in the car park was a disaster. It took us over an hour to get to the exit. No one seemed to be in control and cars were all over the place pushing in and causing chaos

User

I attended the Michael Ball and Alfie Boe concert. The concert itself was amazing but the parking situation was horrendous. I tried to book parking on-line parking the night before, at £11 a ticket, but no bookings were being taken. On the night the parking was £20!! How can that possibly be justified? Especially as the traffic management was so appalling that we weren't able to leave the parking area (a field) for almost an hour and a half. So 5 stars to Messrs Ball and Boe and 2 for the park. Needless to say we will not be attending another event there.
