sorry this didn't seem to send from the shop page, apologies if you get more than one! We're not really THAT excited🥳🥳

It was pointed out to us yesterday that many people don't read our lovely Parish Mag and aren't aware that we will be leaving our little shop on next Friday 17th of Jan!! I've copied the 2 magazine entries rather than going into too much detail here. Breaking news is that the lovely folk of the village have arranged a leaving drinks (could get messy) party thingy tomorrow evening (Friday 10th) at the Rose and Crown from 6.00 pm onward, anyone with the inclination is more than welcome, the later you come the more embarrassing it may be! x

We now have a reasonably priced tree coming on Monday from the lovely people at Farthing Common Nursery🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

After 7 years of fun and games in the shop the lovely Tash has finally broken loose from behind the counter to concentrate on her own fast growing business! We've loved having you around Titch and know that all our customers miss your smile and never-ending good humour! Good luck with your future, you'll go far xx

As you'll know the lovely Tommy has left to go travelling around the fleshpots of Europe and now the equally lovely Kez is being lured up to London to pursue her artistic fortunes! Hence we find ourselves customer-rich but staff-poor and are actively looking for some assistance (assistants?) If you're bright and friendly and able to stand up for a while and lift and carry stuff (trying no to contravene any legislation here) we may have a job for you! Hours can easily fit around school times as we still have a lovely team of young'uns for evenings,weekends and holidays and the job could be shared if necessary. So if you have a few hours to spare, could use a little extra dosh and fancy working in the "commercial hub" of the community, pop in and speak to us or message me here on this page. Vacancy is immediate! Thanks.

We have ONE 4kg freerange Gressingham Norfolk goose left in the shop for £50!! They can be difficult to find so if someone is looking for one.......it's here!

Well there was wind and there was rain......but now there are LIGHTS!!!! You may now all start thinking about Christmas! Including Nick Onslow who mistook the lovely twinkling star on the top for a "humbug"! Our shelves are still groaning under the weight of all things "naughty and nice!" so please use us (we don't mind)😘 Oh and special thanks to Frances and Dave Haigh for the kind donation of the tree, we will be collecting again this year for Porchlight, the homeless charity so look out for the tin on the counter. And a final mention for Rosie Newton who said the tree looked "lublee" and I could have a beer🍺! Cheers Rosie you're lublee too, and very wise!
