Wedding date: 3 June 2017 (a very belated review!)



Stokes Farm Barn should be no.1 on your wedding venue list in Wokingham!



Location: Easy to get to from local churches, hotels etc. but also hidden enough that you feel like you're somewhere completely different and away from everyday life. It has a beautifully landscaped area around the barn, lovely little lake, enough space for children to run around and have fun and a great space for photos.



The barn: Absolutely stunning with and without decorations! A good size for a big wedding, and nice to have the four areas for people to be in (the bar, the main barn for dancing, the lower barn and outside). We had several older guests there who didn't want to be sat in the dance area all night, so having the lower barn to sit in was good for them!



The bar: Such a cute area and very well stocked. We had been pre-warned that the card machine signal wasn't great, so guests knew to bring cash. We were also chuffed that our request to buy in Newcastle Brown for my northern Dad and Uncle was taken on board.



Suzanne and Erik: They were both helpful in making our day fun and relaxed. Suzanne had pre-warned us that she could unfortunately not be there on our wedding day but left us in the capable hands of Erik who helped the day run smoothly. The venue options that we could choose from were clear, and although Suzanne works elsewhere for the winter months, we still heard from her in reasonable time to continue arranging our day.



Overall: We are so pleased we went with Stokes Farm Barn! We and our guests loved the venue!

We had the most amazing day! Stokes Farm was exactly what we wanted and Suze was fab! All the staff were great and I wouldn't change a thing!!

We had our wedding at Stokes Farm on 19 May 2018 and I cannot speak highly enough of how amazing it was. From when we first visited the venue in October, we knew there was no competition. Not only is the venue set in beautiful surroundings, the barns offer incredible flexible space meaning that we could have our wedding breakfast and evening party in separate spaces. The mezzanine bar was an added extra, crating a fun and relaxed space that gave the exact feel we wanted for our day. R.S Catering outdid themselves in our tasting and on the day itself, with our guests comparing the food to fine dining. The icing on the cake was Suzanne who was extremely professional while being very warm and friendly - she completely took the pressure off us on the day and was just an absolute delight through all the planning. Exclusive access to the venue meant that we could really make it ours. We could not have dreamed of a better wedding venue or day and I really really can’t recommend Stokes enough. Emily & Jonny

Since we booked it 2 years ago the barn has just got better and better. Suze and the team have done such an amazing job turning it into the wonderful venue it is today. Our day was perfect and Suze was fantastic on the day making sure everything ran smoothly and went according to plan. It was so lovely to have the freedom to make our own choices but with the reassurance that Suze was there to give advice where needed. The relaxed atmosphere and exclusivity of Stokes Farm were exactly what we wanted. All of our friends and family commented on how beautiful our wedding was and how gorgeous the barn and the grounds are. Thank you so much to Suze and her team for making our day so perfect and for the copious amount of tea and fresh eggs every time we visited!

We got married on 13.08.16 at Stokes farm barn and it was the best day ever! Suzanne made organising the day so easy and really let us have free reign to take over the barn and do what we wanted which was fantastic. We really knew what we wanted and I was worried before about how the day would go down after so much planning had gone into the day but I needn't have worried at all because Suzanne was at hand all day knowing exactly what needed to be done and ensuring the day went off perfectly. I have had so many compliments since where people have said how well the day went and what a perfect venue. It couldn't have happened without Suzanne and Stokes farm barn. Suz also recommended the caterers and they were a fab choice, so reasonable and the food was amazing! Our wedding is the current main photo on this page with the draped arch. We had the most wonderful day at Stokes Farm. But let me start this review at the beginning. When we started planing for our wedding we really knew that we wanted it to be our day & we had lots of ideas. When we started viewing venues a lot of them were very structured and didn't give the flexibility we wanted. But when we got to Stokes Farm and met Suzanne we knew straight away it was the place for us. We actually viewed for the first time on a dark rainy evening and still loved it straight away..



Suzanne and everyone at Stokes farm were just brilliant in the lead up to the wedding. The day before we decorated the barn and from the moment we put up the last bunting I feel we passed everything over to Suzanne and her team and didnt have to think about the running of the day.

It was a truly special and brilliant day. The venue was perfect for us relaxed & fun and it looked amazing. We got our own caters in for the meal (hog roast) and Crepe van for the evening meal. Suzanne and her team did the drinks and the bar as well as getting the cake out and serving. We had a lot of our family do things for the day (flowers, cake, ice-cream, decorating) So there was lots of people and ideas involved but Suzanne was able to juggle us all and pulled it off.



We just need to have an excuse for another big party at Stokes Farm

Unbelievably superior, tasty gigantic dinosaur chicken eggs � these double yolkers are ridiculously good!

This is a delightful venue for any occasion and especially a wedding!

The most important day of your life and here you can tailor it to all your desires and dreams.

The grounds are stunning yet informal with plenty of relaxing space both inside and outside for your guests.

On the day the team ensure that all runs smoothly and to plan and all very quietly in the background so as not to be intrusive on your occasion.

I highly recommend this venue.

Stokes Farm Barn and most importantly Suzanne were fantastic!!!! We got married on the 10th June 2017 and our day was perfect. All of our guests were commenting through the evening and after the day on how impressive the venue looked and how well organised it all was. We decided to go for the all inclusive package and feel it was more than worth the money. The barn was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious, the DJ was brilliant and the drinks were flowing. We can't really say thank you enough but our big day was as stress free as possible all down to Stokes Farm Barn. Thank you again.

Our Campervans loved visiting your venue x beautiful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for having us as wedding transport
