Due to our growing business, Storm Developments are looking for a new member of staff to join our team; the role will involve looking after our front of house and office area, as well as helping in the workshop to support our team. This is a role where an individual with the right attitude can really make their mark and take ownership of the job. Experience in a similar role is preferred. Key responsibilities: • Booking vehicles in to satisfy both customer and workshop requi...rements, and greeting those customers as they arrive, you will be the main “face” of the company and Storm has a strong reputation in the VAG world, as well as many regular customers for servicing/repair work. • Keeping customers informed on the progress of their vehicle and getting authorisation for additional works if needed. • Support workshop staff and be prepared to assist if needed with cars, (VAG experience preferable) as well as ordering parts and sorting any returns. • Take customer enquiries and respond in a timely manager by liaising with the workshop and Owner. • Look after invoicing for both customers and suppliers to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner (you will be at least competent with Excel and Word) • Look after the front of house area. • Working with the owner to map vehicles and learning mapping skills. You will have scope to really put your stamp on this, and create something truly unique with us.
The ideal candidate will have a background in service administration although full training can be given. We are a small but friendly and resourceful team with over 40 years combined experience of working/tuning/custom building VAG cars from spark plugs to superchargers and everything in between! Storm is well known in the VAG world for building some of the best custom builds, our cars are all over the various forums and YouTube channels dedicated to performance VAG cars, so if you would like to be part of our team call on 01189810963 to register your interest . Storm/ RPC motorsport took 1st place at the Spanish national drag event this weekend with our 750hp kit. Storm Developments mapped on just pump fuel, managed low 10second quarters all day and was the fastest car of the event in 30deg heat. Well done Noel !
